The 8 pin I think is for the graphics card. If it is 6+2, then it is for the graphics card. If it is 4+4, then it is for the motherboard AUX.

I knew from the start that people will flame me regardless of what I posted, even an apology. In your brains/minds, anything I post is pointless, even if it's not. If you guys haven't realized, this is not another pointless thread. When is an apology pointless? And yes, I know you guys will find ways to counter me like always. I joined this community thinking I finally found the golden community. Obviously, I was dead wrong. I'm a neat freak, so I like my stuff organized/hidden. All of my cables are long enough, except my 20+4 pin. It is so short that I can not do anything with it if it goes behind my motherboard tray. I am thinking of putting it in front of my motherboard tray and just zip tying it like you guys said.

Yea, shadowex3 is right. Usually, when they come out with a new architecture or whatever, the new processor is better clock for clock.

Does anyone manage their cables inside their computer? I tried to manage my cables when I first got my case, then last night, I tried it again. It still looks so messy to me. I moved my cathode ray around and plugged my fans into different spots (4 pin molex). Only by looking at the back of the motherboard tray will you notice a difference, but since I do not have pictures from my first attemp, showing you my second attempt would be useless. My setup still looks messy. Any suggestions how to make it look better?

Flaming and stupid threads does not only happen on SG forums. There are MILLIONS of forums out there that get flamed daily. I belong to a few of them. If you think 1deag is bad, you are wrong. Just like Omar, I used to be a spamaholic. I used to type with improper grammar. There was this forum for a game and they were taking applications for admins and mods. So to become recognized, I posted on average 200+ post a day. You know what happened? Everyone knew me, as the spammer because I got to rank 1 poster in a week when the community has been around for months. But, I became an admin for the game. That proves to you how much of a spammer I used to be. I am still trying to work on it, but like any disorder/disease/whatever, something can't be fixed by merely telling the person they are doing something stupid. They have to work on it. Alcohlics, smokers, drug addicts, etc. None of their problems ever get fixed in 1 day, unless suicide is a solution. And with that story; no, I have not been on SG forums long enough to make a decision, but yes, I have been on forums (in general) long enough to make a decision.

Then there should be a category called POINTLESS. Anything that doesn't fit in the other categories belongs in OTF. This includes Pointless, Stupid, Flame (except flame is bannable), Shit, Funny, Cool, whatever else you can think of that doesn't fit in the other categories.

Why would me and 1deag get banned for posting "pointless" threads in OFF TOPIC. The title says it all. It is for OFF TOPIC posts. This means anything that doesn't fit in any of the other categories. Stupidity belongs in OTF. If I posted any of my dumb stuff in any other categories and doing it excessively, I would deserve a forum ban.

I don't know who Jiggle/Kay is, so that is a bad example. Think of it this way: Poor kids don't know they are poor until they are told by their parents. Now if the poor kids just keeps asking to buy stuff (posting pointless threads), they will be ignored by their parents sooner or later (mobe's example of people just ignoring the pointless threads). Sooner or later, the poor kids will stop. EDIT: And to add on to my post, you obviously care if you are posting in the pointless thread. To show you really don't care, you would not even go in the thread. You cared when you clicked the thread, you cared when you read the thread, you cared when you clicked reply, you cared when you typed out the reply and you cared when you submitted the reply. You cared some more when you kept on reading the thread and replying some more.
