  1. LOL! I was going to upload another one, but last night on ZE, you didn't say much. = (
  2. I don't know about the Akasa Nero, but the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme is better than the Noctua. But currently the best cooler for the i7 is the Prolimatech Megahalems. If I were to get a cooler, it would be either the TRUE, Noctua NH-U12P, or Prolimatech. I saw people going at 3.9 GHz on the TRUE and Prolimatech. Put 2 fans on your heatsink with a push/pull configuration for better cooling. I heard that the best fan to use is the Noctua, forgot which model. I'm trying to look for reviews, but can't find it. NF-S12B FLX if the fins on the heatsink are not very close and NF-P12 if the fins on the heatsink are really close. the P12 has more static pressure, but a lower airflow and noise level. The S12B FLX has a higher airflow and noise level but lower static pressure. EDIT: According to this site, http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coolers/display/core-i7-coolers-roundup.html, the Thermalright IFX-14 is better than the 3 I list above. It was able to reach higher clocks at lower temperatures.
  3. DOWN WITH THE MEDICS!
  4. Spray Tracker?

Some servers will have a little popup thing that says "Spray sprayed by: " when someone sprays a spray.
  5. Can't see your wishlist. And I also have a 8600 GTS. The EVGA 8600 GTS clocked at 720 MHz. I'm getting decent FPS in CS:S, but not in the newer source mods.
  6. i LOL'd.
  7. Listen to shadowex3. Everything he has said in that one post was win. I 110% agree with him. I've never used anti-static wrap. All I do is hold my computer case and something else metal in my room to be absolutely safe. Case, you can get something cheap for now, and as for shadowex3's suggestion, CM makes the best cases ever. Any case by them is good. Or if you really have to, you can use your old case, I think. GTX 260 Core 126 is in fact, as shadowex3 has said, on average 10 fps less. But getting an ATI is a somewhat better choice if you really want the i7 rig. ATI are extremely inexpensive for their performance. A GTX 260 Core 216 ($170) = HD 4870 1GB ($150). A GTX 275 ($225) = HD 4890 ($200). Both of these comparisons are performance, not price.
  8. LOL! He is too funny. Ever see the other MadTV skits like this?
  9. TORIBASH

Looks fun, what's the system requirements though?
  10. Can't see you wishlist. You need to click the share button or whatever for us to see it. Usually, operating systems can be install on 1 computer at a time if its a retail version. If it is a OEM version, the disc can only be used once and it's garbage.
  11. It's a good built. Asus is a trustable company when it comes to computers. My only concern is the graphics card. That thing is pretty weak.
  12. It's not them that puts things on planes, it's the person paying for the shipping and the shipping company.
  13. He has 1500 dollars to spend on a computer that will last him more than a few months, like your 450 dollar computer.
  14. Can you guys play this embed video in fullscreen? For some reason, I can't play any of the videos I upload in fullscreen.
  15. OCZ is one of the top RAM makers. G Skill, OCZ, Corsair, Geil, Kingston, Mushkin, A Data, Crucial, Patriot would be how I would rank the companies that make RAM (best to worst), but I'm not very experienced when it comes to RAM, I just get the cheapest kit with the best timings, so don't take my word when it comes to RAM. Sorry, but I can't help you with the 2 RAM above. I'm not sure myself. EDIT: Went to main site http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr3_pc3_12800_intel-i7_triple_channel http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr3_pc3_12800_gold_low_voltage_triple_channel From what I read (and see), the heatspreaders are different. Also, the ones with the black heatspreaders are certified for use on motherboards with the X58 chipset and have XMP profiles, which are ready to go overclock profiles stored on the SPD (
  16. IconRestorer

Oh crap. I hate rearranging my icons after I update my Nvidia drivers. This should be really useful. Thanks a lot!
  17. Dude, that's so cool! I wish I could draw.
  18. Haha. I was playing on the minigame server last night and *--(TnT() was talking like Duke Nukem and G-Man. The video is in HD, but I just uploaded it this morning, so it is still processing.
  19. Nevermind, I found 2, 3:34 and 7:09. At first, I thought 7:09 was a zombie or something, so I thought I only found 1.
  20. I only found 1 Gman.
  21. I know that Asus is one of the top motherboard companies, but, correct me if I'm wrong, but Gigabyte is better? Most overclocking competitions use Gigabyte's Ultra Durable series. I personally think ALL LCD are better than CRTs. Every CRT I had so far, compared to this Samsung SyncMaster 933BW, is dull in color, bad contrast, and has very un-sharp images. Plus they are bulky and get very hot.
  22. That's only for the Release Candidate version of Windows 7, which is, if I'm not wrong, 1 step before the official release. It's not the final build. I can get the Release Candidate from Windows 7 site for free. The Release Candidate also expires at a certain date. Taken from the Windows 7 site: Nevermind, maybe it does come with a free upgrade. Ignore everything above this. Sorry. Here is my company ranking list: (The top 4 are fore sure high quality graphics card companies, I'm not sure about Sparkle and Asus, never considered them.) 1. EVGA ~ Lifetime warranty. Best factory overclocks usually. Step-up program. 2. BFG ~ Lifetime warranty. 2nd best factory overclock. Trade-up program. 3. XFX ~ Lifetime warranty. 3rd best factory overclock. 4. MSI ~ 1-3 year warranty. 4th best factory overclock. Really nice and effective custom coolers. 5. Asus ~ 1-3 year warranty. 5th best factory overclock. 6. Sparkle ~ 1-3 year warranty. 6th best factory overclock. Step-up and trade-up are the exact same thing. Basically, it is a program that lets you trade in a older card for a new model that came out. You do have to chip in some money. Your current graphics card must be registered and eligible. Eligibility is different for both companies, but usually its 100 days within purchase date and on the list for eligible cards. For example, you have a 9800 GTX+ and the GTX 260 just came out. You can trade in your 9800 GTX+ + 50 dollars for a GTX 260. I can also get you a better deal on monitors. Acers are not that good of a monitor company. I can get you Samsungs or other high quality company monitor for the same or cheaper price.
  23. Yea, a grain on top of the middle of the processor. Then just let the heatsink do the rest of the work. BTW, I found a couple of deals for monitors.
