  1. I would sit at my computer and think about what to do after finding out that there is a zombie outbreak. Then my friends would probably message me or write on my wall on FaceBook and tell me about it. Then I will say "Yes, I know. What should we do?" Then whatever my friends tell me to do, I'll either agree or disagree.
  2. This dood is PRO

Since I was a little baby boy, I've wanted to learn to do stuff like that. never happened = (.
  3. The fuck?

    Wow...
  4. All I can say is update your drivers if they are not up to date. Other than that, I have no other soltuion.
  5. Problems with CSS

Is this happening on every server? Are you rates correct? I doubt it's the drivers of his video card because his FPS is fine. If anything, it would be the NIC's drivers.
  6. All those keyboard cat are kinda lame me to. The keyboard cats I have seen are clips of funny video with keyboard cat playing them off.
  7. If only there was a test server in Chicago. My speeds would be so much faster.
  8. Never thought of it, i didn't think that a 15 degrees Fahrenheit change in ambient temperature would increase the idle temp of a graphics card by 10 degrees Celsius.
  9. What is the current specs of your computer. Some of these parts might not even work in your current computer. If you are going to get a GTX 200 series card, you will need a big computer case and a bigger PSU. DDR2 RAM is not backwards compatible with DDR3 RAM, your motherboard only supports one type. Then the motherboard you get only supports 1 processor socket. AMD processors wull not work in a motherboard designed for Intel and vice versa.
  10. iPhone 3G

The 3G goes for 99 dollars now. I would rather get that because the 3Gs is basically some upgrades that is not worth 100 extra dollars.
  11. I'm going to save up and get one of those prepaid debit cards from Chase and get the Accelero S1 Rev 2 with the Turbo Modules, just to be on the safe side.
  12. Not stupid at all. My average room temp has been 90 Fahrenheit. I think that is what is affecting it. I turned on my AC today, but it is still averaging 63 Celsius. It won't go to to it's original 50 Celsius.
  13. I was thinking of getting an Accelero S1 Rev 2 with the Turbo Modules, but I have no money. So I guess I will just let it operate at these temps. It is going higher everyday. Today, it is idling at 69 Celsius.
  14. Yea, everything stayed the same temp as they were before, except the graphics card. I'm not worried about the temps. My card goes to 85 Celsius playing CS:S. I just wanted to know why this is happening and will the idle temps continue to rise. Thanks for all your help!
  15. My airflow is exactly what you said. The side blows on my graphics card and processor. But since it is 2x 120mm, the graphics card is unfortunately located directly parallel to where the 2 fans meet. Here is a pic.
  16. I have the Coolermaster Storm Sniper with 1x 200mm fan in the front, 1x 200mm on top, 2x 120mm on the side, 1x 120mm in back and 1x 120mm on the bottom. Back when my graphics card idles at 50 degrees Celsius, i had a crappy case with worst airflow than this case. This case's airflow is equivalent to, if not, better than the Antec 900/1200.
  17. Checked and double checked. My graphics card uses screws to hold down the card's heatsink. EVGA makes really high quality stuff. Thanks for the suggestion.
  18. Guys wanna see mine? Processor : Core 2 Duo E8400 Memory : 4GB Kingston DDR2-800 Hard Drive : Western Digital Caviar SE 250GB Graphics Card : EVGA e-GeForce 8600 GTS Superclocked Edition Case : Cooler Master Storm Sniper
  19. super obama

    Haha. Love it!
  20. When I first got my 8600 GTS, it used to idle at 50C. Now it idles at 64C. Nothing in my computer changed except I have a new case, which is supposed to have better airflow than my old one. Only yesterday, I took a vacuum and sucked/blew out all the dust from my computer.
  21. Wow. That's one massive TV. Wonder what the specs are.
  22. Given your 3 choices, I would pick the 9600 GT. First, it has a 256-bit memory interface vs 9500 GT's 128-bit. I can't really explain what that is, but the bigger the better because having a smaller memory interface will bottleneck your performance. It has a 650MHz core clock vs 550MHz. This core clock is the GPU's clock speed and again, the higher, the better. The 9600 GT has a 1800 MHz shader clock vs 9500 GT's 100 MHz. Faster clocked shader is always better, in fact, the 9600 GT's shaders are nearly 2x the clock of the 9500 GT. The 9600 GT has higher memory clock; 1625MHz vs 1400MHz. A higher memory clock is better than a lower. It has 64 stream processors vs 9500 GT's 32 stream processors. Higher is better, again. The only way the 9500 GT is better than the 9600 GT is that one has 1GB of VRAM, which is pretty much useless for a mid range card. Taken off Yahoo! Answers: The simplest rule of thumb is that larger numbers are better. Larger clock numbers mean it's running at a faster speed. Larger stream processor numbers mean more things can be processed at once, larger memory bandwidth means more information can be moved around at once. Larger memory interface numbers means (theoretically) more capacity for detail. I would like to add that as long as you have 512 MB of VRAM on the graphics card, that is enough. You won't have to worry about memory being larger than that. Now you have to worry about the other things being a higher number.
