I try not to really be scared of anything. If you realize that most things are an illusion then there can be no harm from them. But there are some things that make me squeamish, particularly IV needles. I don't have a problem with IM needles, hell I even give myself IM shots.

Well concerning the religious aspect of Islam I should speak up. I myself follow Islam and actually read the Qur'an. And if you read the book, everything that these extremists are doing is against Islam. I'm sure that just like the Christian religion, very few people read their holy book, and their clergy men put their own interpretation on the people. Read the book and learn. It doesn't say kill the infidel or dehumify women and jews. It just gets twisted like the catholic priests did back during the Middle Ages. And technically western culture doesn't fit with Islam, AND proper Judaism and Christianity. If you actually read your scriptures you will learn that lots of the western thinking is wrong. But that doesn't mean how the east handles their own stuff is right as well.

If this took anyone by surprise then you are quite ignorant. This was bound to happen, and I personal thought it was going to happen well before it actually did. Even if she took power no good would come. She wasn't liked during her earlier time in office, so what would change during her second time if it were to happen. Democracy in Pakistan right now isn't exactly that useful. What we need is more officials monitoring US aid to Musharraf. Musharraf has done a good job so far on his fight against terrorism, mainly because of his direct control of the military. Democracy is the last thing we need in Pakistan at the moment. What is needed is a hard line centralized government that can bypass the democratic bullshit and get to the problem first hand. Look how hard it is for stuff to get done in our own democratic process. We can't even pass a bill to allow congress to discuses whether we should hold a vote on a bill that won't pass. To much bullshit.

Another update on the situation. We've been fighting since when I last updated whats been going on. For a few days we haven't talked to each other, until today. She called me and we talked for a bit. She went to the doctors again and this time they gave us some more solid information. They said that If she does not have the surgery and doesn't go into immediate chemotherapy, she will die before next May, exceptions. Her cancer is very advanced and if they can remove the growths and start treatment now, then she could survive. I'm leaving right after this message to meet her and talk to her about the situation so we can decide what to do. I really hope she takes the treatment. I don't think she knows how hurtful her dieing will be to her family and everyone she knows.

There are hardly any radio stations that play those genres.
