  4. Congrats you guys! Do us proud.
  5. This. Our server managers are doing what they can to increase population along all hours of the day, including keeping weekends busy. We may look into this in the future, but not in the short term.
  6. @Gator @Liam Brown
  7. Closing off as many servers have it, and it's being worked on for others.
  8. My bad, I mentioned this in the staff sections but should have here. To all, these changes all started from a thread that @Luke made way back when he was a CA - thank you Luke for your awesome idea! I'm glad that we are able to finally put it into action.
  9. Oh and @Dominic the weeb
  10. The following people are to be memed by force: @Nishok @Karma @Cept For Her @Montag @Poobah @Xstrikerkiller nice memes This has been fixed.
  11. There is a bug right now allowing anyone to set a server rep bar. Please do NOT do this. We will remove those that we see right now. The bug should be fixed soon.
  12. Hello everyone, The Board has been in discussions about improving the Community Advisor rank, in order to make it a more worthwhile/important rank, as well as bringing it back as a sort of "stepping stone" into future ranks. Our hope is that this rank can give one the will, knowledge and introductory leadership skill to be a member of one of our divisions. To this end, the CA rank is transitioning to a focus on being Server Representatives! CA's now have the exclusive opportunity to represent the server (or servers) that they regularly play on - this applies to all servers. As a server representative, they will have the following responsibilities: - Work with the AT(s) officially running the servers on suggestions, requests and server-related opportunities - Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the server they represent - Coordinate with ATs to run server-based meetings - Along with ATs, they can work with the events team on server events they would like to see - Help with managing a public to-do list for their server - Bring community suggestions to the AT(s) responsible for discussion - Communicating server/community's wishes to ATs - ... Anything else relating to a representative role. The above list is subject to change and grow in the future. This is on top of the existing CA responsibilities. To identify what servers they represent, they will be able to display this in their postbit with a shiny new group bar! Server Representative is a requirement to advance to the Administrative Team rank. As per before, it is open for admins to apply for. If you have any questions, feel free to let the Board know! EDIT: New applications can be submitted HERE. Another note - this change is a work in progress and will be for some time. Please bear with us as we make revisions as needed.
  13. What would 50 posts make different in the quality of our applicants? If anything it might take them an extra month or two to get to that point - in that time, it will solidify both: a) if they still want to apply; and b) that they are accepted as a good player in the community (a lot of the time, in a few months we see players lose interest, get banned or gain their own reputation, good or bad). I don't see a reason to reduce the post count. While I'm not a good example of the "average", a regular player can easily rack up 3 to 5 posts a day responding to server-related threads, OT threads and general announcements. If you do 3 posts a day, it will take 33 days to get 100 posts from registration. That's a month. If you do 5 posts a day on average, it's 20 days. Even if you post once a day it would take you just over 3 months, which isn't bad at all considering you would spend that time playing on our servers.
  14. Hi all, We have a couple of very exciting promotions to announce tonight. First off, we'd like to welcome Fel to the Media Team! Fel has already done good work as part of the Events Team and is now joining a second group. His new responsibilities will include: Manage forum and community website themes and layouts Manage all forum and community images (awards, rankbars, etc) Manage forum design sections (signature/avatar requests, etc) Work with Marketing team to manage branding and community logos/external advertising Work with Game Divisions to keep in-game branding and design (map textures for SG) up to date and relevant Work with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc) Second, we would like to promote Third to the role of Junior Technical Team member! Third comes with experience in coding and software, and working in the gaming sphere in his professional life. His responsibilities will include: Fix technical issues that arise day to day (servers/site) Research/manage mods, scripts, and plugins to improve our servers Develop solutions to improve our servers/mods performance Discover and fix exploits against our servers/site Assist in data backup operations for the community's data Assist AT's when problems arise or others are on vacation And last, we are filling one of our division manager spots. This person has done a tremendous amount of work in the time that he has been in his various roles with us, and we believe that he will do a stellar job leading the Marketing Team. Please join me in welcoming All Ts to the rank of Marketing Manager! He will continue to do his normal Marketing duties while leading the team, and will work with delirium (who has stepped back from the manager role, whilst still being the BD advisor for this team) on implementing policies and programs to ensure our continued success in the gaming community at large. Congratulations everyone!

  19. Hello everyone, We have a promotion to announce! First, due to availability and time issues floffypus will be stepping down from his role as Media Manager. He will still be staying on the Media Team however, with a secondary rank of Legends as he was before. The entire board would like to thank floff for his time and efforts leading the team from the start and are happy to have him remaining on the team! That leads us to name his replacement. To the rank of Media Manager, we'd like to congratulate euro! We wish her the best of luck in leading the team going forward. As a reminder, the team's responsibilities are: Manage forum and community website themes and layouts Manage all forum and community images (awards, rankbars, etc) Manage forum design sections (signature/avatar requests, etc) Work with Marketing team to manage branding and community logos/external advertising Work with Game Divisions to keep in-game branding and design (map textures for SG) up to date and relevant Work with Marketing team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc) Please join myself and the board in congratulating euro!
