  8. @Gator the "Donate" page should list donors as they are put into the system. I would copy/paste them from there into a thread and format as needed. Alternatively, there might be a way to export the donation list directly from vbDonate. I just can't remember for sure.
  9. Grats Darnias!
  10. ????

    PEMDAS 1. Parentheses 2. Exponents 3. Multiplication / Division (left to right) 4. Addition/Subtraction (left to right) 6÷2(1+2) 1. 6÷2 (3) 2. None 3. Because the division is first - [6÷2(3)] = [6 ÷ 2 x 3] - you do the division first. [6 ÷ 2 x 3] = [3 x 3] = [9] 4. None EDIT: I saw some posts on twitter saying "it's ambiguous because you could treat it as a fraction"; no you can't because there aren't any brackets around the bottom number. If the equation was: 6 ÷ [2(1+2)] , then you could treat it as: 6 - 2(1+2) = 6 / 2(3) = 6 / 6 = 1 But because there are no parentheses, you have to treat it as: (6÷2) (1+2) = (3)(3) = 9 EDIT2: Seems that the "left to right" trick with Ord of Ops isn't universally held. I invite you to read -https://math.berkeley.edu/~gbergman/misc/numbers/ord_ops.html Gives some contrasting opinion from the above on ambiguity.
  11. Agreeing to promote 3/4 of you tbh my vp legacy summed up in one word is regret
  12. Confirming with gator presently, hold tight
  13. Hi everyone, It has been a tough decision but today will be my last day as Vice President at Steam-Gamers. Over the last few months I have tried my hardest to get my activity to the level where I want it to be, but ultimately I can't get to the level that I feel is right for a VP to be at. In the last year and a half as VP, I've head the pleasure of working with many great people on the staff to push forward a lot of important and long-lasting initiatives. It's coming up on a year since we released the new divisional structure, and though there have been several changes made since the launch (as there always is!), I feel that the changes we've made are hugely positive for SG's future and that it will have a longstanding impact on our operations. Other than that, we've opened up new servers, upgraded our existing servers to better hosts and are in the midst of a website move (soon™). I think that the next few years for our community are going to be absolutely amazing! I have come and gone a few times in my past in SG, so I won't make this thread super long. I am still sticking around, albeit in a Technical Administrator role. I have networking experience in my real life job (which takes up most of my time btw) and am happy to help @Nishok and his team out with what needs to be done on the backend, as much as I can. I will also stick around to be a high-level advisor for Caution and the Board/IA team as they need as I want to continue giving back to the community that has given me so much. SG has been a part of my life for almost 10 years now and I am happy to keep with it for as long as the community is thriving. In terms of my replacement, I have talked with Caution and the board and am very happy to announce that Gator will be the new Vice President. He has done a great job in his role as BD and has been an exemplary staff member thus far in his membership with SG. I have no doubt that he'll do a kickass job. To those of you that I have worked at during my journey here (which continues) - from @Caution to the other POs in the past, VPs, BDs, AO/ATs, TAs, and more - thank you for being a positive influence on my life. SG shaped who I am as an individual (epic memer) and will always be a great set of memories for me. To be honest, being out of a VP/BD role takes some stress off me in terms of responsibility so I hope to see you all around in the servers a little more than I have been as of late. I still love my MG crew and since I have my new rig I want to play as much as possible when time allows - so I hope to see y'all in the servers! Can't wait to see what the future holds for the community. Thanks again everyone. Prez P.S. Long live SteamGamers!
  14. Don't log back on
  15. Hello everyone, The new forums have arrived. We are still working out the kinks but please bear with us during this (awesome) time. Please let us know if you have any questions!
  16. Is it rhejected or rshejected? rxhejected?
  17. None of us get paid for what we do. All of the money donated is re-invested back into the community through raffles, server upgrades, etc. other than the portion that caution funnels out to fund his lifestyle choices, of course.
  18. girl is mad
  19. fat chance kid Congrats guys welcome to the upper echelons of the extreme meme dream team
  20. i saw that sneaky mc admins sticky edit :kappa:

  21. Kopsta has earned himself 3 weeks off due to inappropriate sexual comments and baiting of one of our admins. Let this be a reminder to all - we do not and will not condone any actions or words/suggestions/jokes around sexualization of minors. Regardless of if it is an adult or a minor making these comments (especially after repeated warnings to stop), you are NOT allowed to suggest or conduct conversations that are sexual in nature. In this case, asking an adult admin to "inappropriately touch" him and joke about it afterwards falls into this category. There is more to this situation, but explaining it fully does not give any benefit to the community at large. While we are a community for gamers and are here for fun, the line is drawn at certain points where it is both unbecoming of a modern community and extremely unethical (and in some cases bordering on, or actually being, illegal) to have these kinds of language and situations pop up. If you have any questions on this, please contact a member of the Board.
  22. Congrats guys!
  23. Well deserved my dude. Congrats!
  24. Congrats guys!
  25. I think if we did decide to bring it back again, we would have to do a lot of planning beforehand and ensure that it is what the community wants at that point in time. Not only that, but we need to keep moulding it and (heh) crafting it to keep up with changing tastes. MC (along with darkrp imo) is one of the hardest games/gamemodes that we have tried to keep up here, so we would definitely need to have someone fully dedicated who can also keep the community in mind.
