What do you think about the Storm Sniper vs. the HAF? I don't think there are knobs to change the fan speed on the HAF, but couldn't you just get a program for that? Also, what do you think about my build? are there any bad brands that you think I should stay away from? I'm getting everything from newegg?

Well I'm typing this post for the second time because the system logged me out because I was inactive for so long because I was typing, and then I lost the post because I had to log back in to post, but then I couldn't get back to my message which is kind of lame, so I guess this time I will copy my post before I submit... Whats with the 80gig Hard drive? and is this all off of tigerdirect or newegg? I'm going to be building a new pc and I am trying to select the best bang/buck parts. And by $1500 I mean THATS IT TOPS! I need like a full list of parts and to like total them up. I need this computer to last me a long time, which means careful selection of parts, because I cannot afford the best. Right now I am really stuck on deciding between a quad core and dual core but I think I am going with dual core (E8500/E8600) because all I will be using this thing for is games and homework no games out there right now, at least the ones I'm looking to play really use all 4 cores, and if they do, its not effective enough and its still cheaper to go dual core. Feel free to argue for quad cores as I haven't fully made up my mind yet. Lots of people say that quad cores (I was looking at the Q9550 by the way) are much easier to overclock when the need comes around. For a motherboard I was thinking of going with an Nvidia bord (790i possibly) because I really wanted the ddr3 ram, but it looks like I might have to go DDR2 if I want to stay in budget. I really love Nvidia's cards, but it looks like I might have to go with ATI's 4800 cards, but if anyone has suggestions for what video card I should get please post. UPDATE Just found a deal http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150323 I think I'll get it, a 9800 GT with 6gb of DDR3 1600HZ Triple channel. I know it's not the best card in the world, but with the RAM is a good deal I think. I'm looking for suggestions on anything I should choose, drives, hdd, power supply, and case etc. etc. So guys please help. Correct me if I;m wrong, but isnt the 790i DDR3? and it has the 775 socket doesn't it? Why are you talking about i7? And I havent even seen an i7-975, just the 965, unless it just came out.

Ok first of all, I know that card sucks, thats why I said budget. I'm not going to be playing crysis on high settings or anything, I just want to run my games at higher settings and actually be able to play call of duty 4. Guess what I'm running right now? an Nvidia 6800GTX (Yes laugh at me all you want) so for me it's a significant upgrade, I'm not looking to spend $100 here although I do know it would be more beneficial to spend money on a waay better card, I;m just trying to upgrad an old shitty computer so it's a little more playable, once I'm out of the house I'm gonna build my own rig and I most certainly won't use these cards. Back to the OP, nobody really said which card was the best lol but the 9600 for sure needs something higher than a 350 Watt PSU?

Dang, so I gotta drop another 50/60 on a psu too, also I was thinking about getting the second one, what made you go with the first one? Unless ur just a DDR2 fan?

My computer has busted and as of now I am debating with my father to repair it or get a new one, hopefully the latter. Anyway, I am at my mom's house right now where I only have access to the internet once in a while. Please excuse my absense as I am not able to play right now because the computer I am using right now has no chance of running Cs: Source let alone it barely runs Steam. I would still like to play with anyone who has an Xbox360 and has Halo 3 or Orange Box my Xbox Live is Finzz if anyone wants to play me (I will OWN you!) hopefully I will see you all soon!

@ James, it's a new soda Pepsi came out with for the release of Halo 3. Its a mix between cherry and citrus. (Code Red and LiveWire if you want to think of it that way). I think it's pretty good. And that was a pretty funny video SD, made me laugh .

I ate frog legs once (tasted like chicken lol) but for school for extra credit we ate really nasty meat like head cheese and blood sausage it was sick. Someone on the Napalm server sait they eat brocoli and chicken pizza which I have never heard of.

Ive got nes that works, snes (works), two nintendo 64's that work, gamecube that works, a ps2 slim, nintendo wii, playstation 1, gameboy color, gameboy advanced, gameboy sp and two nintendo ds, also some atari that doesn't work.

Yesterday morning I was making alunch for school and I got two pieces of white bread (because it is the best) bread to make a sandwich (peanut butter and jelly of course) when I notices a small fly buzzing around my kitchen. I was holding the two slices one on top of the other flat in my left palm when the fly landed on them. Then it like started digging/burrowing into the bread and I smacked it and then lost track of it. It was so gross I just threw the bread away and didn't make a sandwich for that day lol.

This one Mission Impossible game & Rainbow Six for n64. I dunno if it's because you tend to be crappy at games when you're a little kid or what but on both of these games I couldn't even get passed the first level! lol
