  1. Ventrillo works fine. I dont see the need to switch.. Ya.. maybe it has more things to offer but they really are not necessary. Ventrilo has been used for a long time now, and switching for the reason stated don't seem worth it.
  2. Thanks for the minimap! works great!!!

  3. wow.

Syracuse vs Michigan Louisville vs Wichita State I am a die hard Syracuse fan (I am from Syracuse) So I will be cheering for them. I would like to see Syracuse vs Louisville in the final, and cream Louisville for the title!!! What are your predictions for the Final Four?

  8. So I know you were looking into the ASUS Vulcan Pro Headset, I have been looking at ALOT of reviews on it and I really want to take back what I said. It seems they fixed and improved alot of things with the headset and kept it at the same price as the ASUS Vulcan ANC(the older model). In a matter of fact, It is up there in the few headsets that I might get. And to be honest, it may be the best one

  9. So right now I am using ASUS Vulcan headset (Analog 3.5mm) I just was wondering, since I am looking for a new headset, should I stick with 3.5mm or go to USB? I am using my HP laptop, so it has a soundcard built into the MOBO... So I am clueless as to what it can do/provide (5.1/7.1 Surround sound??)... Can't find anything about it online Any clarification would be great. The headsets I am looking at are: SteelSeries Siberia V2 - Analog SteelSeries Siberia V2 - 7.1 Virtual Surround USB SteelSeries Siberia V2 Frost Blue - USB Logitech G35 - USB What are your thoughts as to which one I should get. Yes, I am getting a headset, yes I know I will always be sacrificing audio when getting a gaming headset (So maybe it won't matter either way)
  10. U left the scrim tourney :'( All hope is lost in winning now

  11. Hey guys, just wanted to see what you played back in the 90s (PS1/early computer era). I just starting thinking about these games again(as well as spyro in my signature) and can recall spending alot of free time playing these with my brother and during sleepovers. As games get more complex and generations change, as to what people like to play, I will still ALWAYS think of these as my favorite games. My first gaming system was the PS1, then gameboy color, then PC, then Xbox... Now only PC. Lol I still remember as a little kid all the different ways I would try to sneak the gameboy in my room after I was suppose to go bed ;P What do you remember playing alot? Also, to anyone that has played Spyro- I beat them 100%
  12. I play on another server that has SourceTV for it. There is absolutely no delay at all
  13. Like I said, I got the older version so I don't know what changed in the build quality. But it seems if you unplug and replugin the mic alot (like I do) it seems to mess up the connection. I also hate the cable. It is LONG and gets caught under my chair and stuff. Another problem with the cord is after the first few days of use, they will instantly start to get twisted up/tangled together in an obnoxious way. And after you untangle it and stuff it will only last an hour or so until it is tangled again. I got them for Xmas, but I really don't think they are worth spending 150 on. The ANC sucks. I never use it. The Sound quality is good. But the mic could be better. They are also sorta on the heavy side, but they do provide EXCELLENT comfort. ASUS RMA Process is... Well..Easy/Pain. Let me tell you what occured: Called ASUS, got a menu to choose from to get to the right department, yet they had NOTHING related to headsets and such. So i had to go to something random. Finally get to speak to some guy who can't speak english.. I tell him my problem.. He has NO IDEA they make the headset.... So after many annoying minutes of providing information on it he sets up RMA... I pay for shipping to the RMA center. Then in about 4 weeks I got a brand new, straight in the box headset. 2nd RMA: Called ASUS...Spoke to someone who DID speak english. Set up RMA, was sending it back same day. Fast, simple, easy. Got this one back in about 1 week, But I got a box with the peanut styrofoam chips or w/e they called with the basics(Headphones, mic, cord.) So I have mixed reviews about the RMA process.
  14. Hijack dis thread.... Anyways. I too am looking for a new headset. I currently own the older version of ASUS Vulcan, they were good while they lasted, but I need something new(Had 3 replacements in 2years - 1 of those was my fault). The current pair is starting to go (microphone issue....again) After reading this thread I have narrowed it down to: Amazon.com: SteelSeries Siberia V2 Full-Size Gaming Headset with Built-In USB Sound Card (Frost Blue): Computers & Accessories Amazon.com: Logitech G35 7.1-Channel Surround Sound Headset: Electronics Amazon.com: Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound: Electronics I am gonna read review and such for each one and report back if I narrow it down..
  15. Amazon.com: Logitech Wireless Gaming Mouse G700: Electronics I got this mouse around Christmas. I love it. Whats good: Size-larger than most mice I ever used.. Wired & Wireless - I prefer wireless because I hate having the cord getting tangled and snagged. But it works great wired( I have had to use it wired when the battery dies and its recharging) DPI settings/Buttons- You can change the dpi on the fly and program the 8 buttons with logitechs software (easy and simple to use) Battery- Comes with a GOOD/RELIABLE AA Rechargeable battery. It will also take and charge any other rechargeable battery you might have laying around. If you do end up taking a look at the g700.. let me know if you have anymore questions.
