thanks for the tip, but i am not on it wirelessly.

i contacted my ISP and they checked my modem and did some things, and they said if it was the modem it was fixed now and that is is working fine... the lag is still there so now im gonna take out the router and it should be fixed. Might gonna have to get a new router...

There is nothing good about alienware.

Ok so every couple minutes or so i get massive lag spikes where my screen freezes up, no error messages, and the round goes on.. I can still hear the people talking with no problem though. And in my net graph 5 there is a big gap with the colored lines, which obviously should be there but when this lag occures its like my connecti is lost.. WTF >

maybe his jack iss broken. the one on my sansa fuze is broken. and now its usless.. but if there is a product out there id loveto get it!!

Try this: 1)Bottom right of taskbar click Speakers 2)click Mixer 3)Find System Sounds and Click on the Icon 4)Go to Recording Tab 5)Mkae sure it finds ur headset 6)Right Click on your Microphone and go to properties 7)Go to levels tab and make sure a)it isnt muted b)volume bar is up all the way... By the way is it analog or USB?

Ok guys.. Garfield didnt want your opinion on what headset to get.. jesus christ. He got a cheap headset. thats that. NOW LETS GET BACK TO THE QUESTION!! I really do believe it is a settings issue... This is the same thing as my haedset and i did fint that my mic was on mute in the system sound settings.. just kept playing aound with them. what OS u got? maybe I can give directions

Save a few bucks and get a 5770. They are cheap fast and reliable. Sapphie is a good manufacture FYI

trakaill is right. if you dont plan on OC then don't worry about getting a big ass fan.. and if u wanna drop the price on a gpu, get a Radeon 5770 kinda like trakaill said
