  6. What servers are you playing on? If they have a high sv_maxrate, you can just keep raising your rate until your choke problem is gone. I use rate 40000 personally.
  7. Try something like: rate 30000 cl_cmdrate 66 cl_updaterate 66 cl_interp 0.033 cl_interp_ratio 2 Unless you play on (some) bhop servers it's pointless to have your rates set for 100 tick servers.

    Thats not true. The GTX 460 runs on the GF104 core, not GF100 like the GTX 480. It generally performs just as well as a 5850 and doesn't have the heat issues the other cards have. It's also roughly $60 cheaper which is a pretty decent amount. See here.
