ya i dont think it was that after all.. i just did a clean install finished installing cod4 and when to download a patch and boom cuts to like 5 sec blue screen then restarts.... i have no idea wtf is going on

i think my bro got a virus.. i did a scan and it popped up some threat that wont delete "PE_Patch.Stolen" associated with some "wlanapi.dll" file

ok so heres the story. I just finished reinstalling windows vista on my bros pc on a new hard drive over the past few days and this morning he goes to play on it and it keeps crashing and restarting itself. Like an idiot, least i think it was an idiot move, i went into safe mode and did a system restore to the night before and now windows wont launch in either safe mode or normally. uggggggggg!!!!! >_ Now i installed windows on the secondary drive and it boots fine so i don't think there's any hardware issue here. I guess what I'm asking is if there is anything i can do besides reinstalling windows again? It's such a pain! **UPDATE** OK here's whats happening.. i clean installed windows vista and after installing a few things i keep getting this 5 sec blue screen that doesn't stay up long enough for me to read and the computer restarts... wtf?????

what if it malfunctions and it motor starts running the belts at high speeds? o.O

Windows 98 SE (first pc it was an emachine) Windows Me (second pc, compaq, and yes a pain -_- it was more like Win 98 Third Edition) Windows Vista HP ( third pc, its actually laptop) I did technically have windows xp but it was an illegal downloaded copy which i installed on my windows me system but it never worked right and had to do system restore twice trying to run it. I hate XP tho because of what i encountered with my brother system he got from dell as well as my nephews system which was also a dell. maybe it was a dell thing? I'm curious tho... I haven't had any problems with vista but i hear a lot of bad shit about it. enlighten me?

i remember in school.. dont remember when, but they had us learn the proper way to type but we only did it a few days. i didnt own a pc at the time. when i finally got a pc, freshman year of high school, i became addicted to the internet and was constantly in chat rooms 24/7. so i dont use the "proper way" or what ever its called. i just kept typing till i no longer had to look at the keyboard. i glance at it from time to time still and my typing is riddled with typos if i go too fast or dont take my time. question is... is it better to learn to type the "right way"?
