Because I really, really hate ATI with a passion. Mostly from numerous battles with them over the phone about the last graphics card I bought from them a year ago, I will never buy from them again, I'd rather give the money to Nvidia, then buy from ATI.

I get mixed reviews from everyone, between getting 2 285s, or 2 295s, but as of right now, I will only run 1 card, but I might run SLI in time to come. Can someone explain the Pros and Cons of them? Yeah, That's why I got 1000W, to have room for SLI, and still have room to breathe, without the bare minimum of a 750W. I will defiantly look into this, but I don't have any knowledge as to running in a raid. I am defiantly planning to overclock it, and all the reviews are all perfect. I love this motherboard so far about the specs, reviews, even to the color scheme lol. I will take a look at these, thanks.

That's the thing, I have no idea how hard drive speed can affect performance.

I'm looking to build a new computer, but I'm not to familiar with hard drives. Is a Western Digital 300Gb VelociRaptor really worth it for $200 for only 300gb? I was looking at that and a Western Digital 1TB hardrive, but people have given me mixed stories on whether to buy WD or Seagate.
