LOOOL OMFG. Bro why does everyone think i was speeding because i had my headlights out. THAT'S MY FUCKING ALIBI. I worded the first thread of what I told the cop. Not actually why i was speeding. I am going to need a alibi to tell the prosecutor or it won't get reduced. But its all g, i got the perfect set. @ Bom: And yeah bom you right, it is a personal attack. Hes one mad fat teacup. James you may be right about peeps like me making insurance go up for new and especially "male" drivers. But check this, it has always been a factor. It's not like some recent law that just came out, so shit ain't gonna change even if I or EVERYONE WHO IS MY AGE decides to drive the speed limit. Bom's point exactly. And bro if you drive, you would understand that maybe 1/1000 people go the actual speed limit. Everyone else does 5-10minimum km over the speed limit daily.

At least theirs a couple people who think like me lol. Anyways, I went to court today. The fuckin popo didnt file my ticket yet so I can't even talk to the Prosecutor. Its some bullshit for real. I have to wait till he files the ticket before I can do anything so I guess I'm finna wait till June 12.

Thing is Dimitry, I don't usually go 45km/h over the speed the limit, its usually only on the highways. But when you are going 10-20km/h over the speed limit, their is no danger lol. As for the 5-10 minutes of being late, being on time is everything lol. But then I guess you can say leave earlier, so thats cool.

LOL BRO, this is why i took my driving test at night, didn't have to worry about playground zones and shit. Just talked to a buddy today, apparently we can talk to the people that handle the tickets paying and shit and they have the power to reduce it. If they don't reduce my ticket tomorrow like at least take the demerit points off, I'm gonna go to the crown prosecutor and try to work out a deal. If that doesn't work, I'm gonna plead non-guilty, take it to trial and hope the cop doesn't turn up. I'll let you guys know how it goes down tomorrow. Wish me luck. Everybody has once drove over the limit for the fuck of it or getting to some place in a rush. Either you are slow or you didn't read my posts. If you read every single post before you commented, you would understand that I wasn't speeding for that but that is what I told the cop. Yeah, it is my first speeding ticket where I have gotten pulled over but I don't know man, I don't think this cop was on my side. Plus, I am risking getting fucked if he shows up. Yeah, if I can workout a deal with the prosecutor for it to not be reported to my insurance company, that would be sick. Guess I gotta go through some legal consultation before i make a decision though.

Do you live in Canada, because I am not sure if you can plead no contest and guilty over here? And I still don't understand how the ticket wasn't reported to your insurance? So you only got charged and gained no demerit points. This might be an option that I might do.

So they don't have to waste time and money on fighting for cases that don't require it. Wasting money on judge, prosecutor bla bla bla. Basically saving money. It's the way Canada roles. Sucks for you in Belgium lol.

I could call them and ask them about it. But the fact that they record their calls 24/7 and will probably make note that i got a speeding ticket before i get it reduced just makes me not want to call them.. yeah, never expected to get pulled over but I usually have a good eye for where they are in places i drive all the time in. Its just this time, I was in the other side of town where i don't usually go, so I got fucked. I just don't want to get my demerit points taken away cuz insurance is gonna be a bitch. Anyhow, I am getting a radar for sure now.

If it was in Miles, my license would be suspended. And that wasn't the case for me, this cop was an asshole. One of my buddies was going double the speed limit and when they pulled him over, the cop let him off with a warning. @ Dimitry: That's the excuse that I told him when he asked why I was speeding. Aite so check it out. I was leaving my buddies house on Thursday and it was getting dark AND 2/4 of my headlights were dead. SO I was booking it to a store to get bulbs and replace em so I wouldn't get a ticket for having 2 of my headlights out. So I started speeding, just before i hit downtown while i was doing about 120 in a 70 zone, their was a police trap. And I get pulled over by the popo. The fine ain't the problem, its the fucking demerit points. If I get this hit, my insurance is gonna boost like a motha fucka. Fine is 330 and I lose 4 Demerit points.. Any advice on what to do? Should I go to the ticket fighters, should I plead guilty or non-guilty and hope the officer doesn't show up. The "pig" told me that the ticket is pretty steep and that I should plead non-guilty and hope that the prosecutor will reduce it. And told me and I quote him directly, "you need to learn to slow down dood" Any advice would be appreciated, if you know the laws well, hollllla.
