Homeschooling is fine and all, but as mentioned, sometimes you have to make a fool of yourself to learn important lessons in life. Granted, I'm sure you could eventually learn these lessons too after homeschooling, but having people to lean on, friends to hang with, and people to hate can really make a difference when it comes to living your life and finding a job (although it seems like you've got that second one covered). Then again, it's not for us to decide your future, so hell, do whatever you want.

I don't regret it one bit. Just buy that for now, and save for the 8800 or something. It's not too difficult. A steady 100FPS on the US Escape server is no laughing matter, especially after coming from a machine which gave out 20FPS on the lowest settings. -.-

I know hardware specs, and I see absolutely nothing wrong with that computer. CPU is slightly above-average, good motherboard, solid 2GB of RAM, great graphics card (I've got the same model), and really good stuff all round. Out of curiosity, where'd you build this system?

I have a bit of experience in video editing if you guys need any help. Vegas is great software for video editing, and I happen to have it on this computer, too. Just give me a shout.

Great idea for a thread. I might not agree with things that are happening overseas, but I think it's only fair to respect those putting themselves in harms way for our way of life, no matter where you are in the world and no matter where you stand on the many global issues to date.

I think I'd jump on people's rooftops (like ATIX's upcoming map) with a shotty. Zombies can't climb, right? So, just go to your local Walmart every now and then, get food and some ammo, or even loot people's houses, and then live on their roof. ^_^

Just got a new rig to play this game. Super pumped after the demo. Seems like the nice gameplay in COD2 combined with BF2's excitement, if you can call the Battlefield series exciting.
