    Anything with 2GB+ RAM, dual core processor, 250+ HD space and for graphics, just compare benchmarks online, it's best you try and get a dedicated rather than integrated card if you're serious about getting a good gaming experience out of it. Otherwise, you can get really cheap laptops for what I just said with integrated graphics cards and for college work, there's no point spending too much on it.

    Staying at my Grandad's for a few weeks while he's on holiday to see what it's like to live myself before heading off to University, title of the thread basically sums up what most of you will say, just saying so you all know why I'm inactive. Anyway, what do you recommend I do that is productive since I have (basically) no internet? See you all in game in a few weeks... if I've not drank myself to death.

The first one isn't anything to get worked up about, I would laugh if a CT done it to me but the second one, yes I would consider it bannable, it's not just one player but many being affected by the CT's actions, you don't know how many of them would leave the server for it or start complaining next round.

    Well I did follow a tut. to get rid of Pulse-audio but I'm not completely sure it's fully removed. I have re-installed ALSA several times too. I am using 10.04 as well. My headset is just a normal jack and I think it's just the one sound card but I want sound from my speakers firstly. Thanks.
