He was going down during the catch. Him taking three steps doesn't matter because he was going down with contact. The rule now is that the receiver must maintain control of the ball if he is being contacted to the ground while catching it. It has been an established rule for a while now. You would even need to prove he had COMPLETE control of the ball to consider your 3 step argument. Show me the clip where he does, and then you might have a chance at being right. From what I saw, there was bobbling throughout the catch, but that was real time. There is nothing there to overturn the call. Go rage at purple things now.

The last play was a good non-call as there was no contact prior to the ball reaching the receiver (as slow motion and commentators pointed out). They thought it was a bad call, but when they showed it in slow motion, they changed their opinions. The only contact of importance was both the receiver and defender's hands, which were both in the same area. It was contested ball and both were playing on it, so no penalty. That's how its supposed to be called. The incompletion was correctly ruled on the field. It was a bang-bang play where the receiver has to maintain control while going to the ground, which the receiver did not. The act of changing your motion to move up field may be considered a "football move" by some, but because the call on the field was incomplete and it was a bang-bang play, there is no way to reverse the decision by replay. The refs did a great job all game except for that "facemask".

Completely disregarding what I say and the points I make can be avoided by doing the above. I get that you are doing it for fun, but what I am saying is that from my opinion, it won't be what it is hyped up to be under the circumstances.

If the T's are supposed to be aliens and those wannabe predators, the CT's are still going to follow the rules of PB? Who herds "prisoners" of xenomorphs and wannabe predators to the pool and expects to hold a themed event together? The whole goal , as Fullmetal said, was to make T's feel like they have to kill the CT's, but it is going to result in either two scenarios. The first is that the CT's are going to be a bit more trigger happy assuming the T's do in fact take on the role of a severely disabled xenomorph and try to kill the CT's at every possible turn. If one is to appreciate the purpose of the event, then this is the style of play suited for the theme, if there is any relevance to the skins at all. The second is that people will just look at the skins, think they're pretty cool, and go on playing PB normally where the CT's try desperately to make the T's do something stupid enough to get them killed. It won't be a themed event beyond having a few new skins for the people who pay for them. I am banking on scenario two happening. The theme won't work because everyone will not be able to use the skins (yes it DOES ruin the idea). For any chance of it working, everyone must have skins to immerse the players into the theme (albeit a pointless one to run on PB). I'd find it a more successful venture if the theme was applied to an MG map so special attributes could be given to either side that reflect the nature of those character skins.

Looks lame with just the skins. Kinda pointless to act like you are an Alien when you can't climb on walls and ceilings. Picking up a gun and shooting as an Alien is just stupid to me. Huge fan of the Alien franchise, so that's why I am rough.
