Plus those would probably be the more religious parts of the country, so they could find some shelter/church aid maybe. In Richmond it gets colder than I thought it would, and in DC it gets a lot colder. We have a fairly decent campus police that manages to keep the hobos from messing with us too much, but I don't think the rest of the city is that lucky. For some reason they all say they are "war veterans". Don't think that this is true, but I am sure some of them may be from the good ol' cold war days of vietnam. I would think the true veteran hobos would get jobs, but I dunno. We either help them get a job, let them suck out resources, or ship them elsewhere... don't know if the first will ever be done effectively.

The coffee tastes good. Don't knock it till you try it. Had some at a coffee tasting thing we had at my school... wouldn't buy it though...it is too expensive. Only like 30 ppl could try it because they did not have a lot, and I was one of the lucky ones.

Ummm...not really. There are very few jobs available to the homeless, if any, that a migrant worker hasn't already taken. Many would take any job, but can't because there is a lack of jobs. Common sense would be to New Deal em' and have public works projects...like maybe the super fence across the border to mexico! :001_tt2: Seriously need jobs though...
