Well if you are running Vista, it hides the game in the save game folder in you TW directory (or wherever you have the game installed) and you have to push a button in the folder to view it and copy back to normal so you can use it in the game. It did that with me in Rome TW a few times

I really do not think you can take everything on here with a grain of salt except maybe in the political section. Sure we post some pics that make fun of people, or make fun of WoW players because they play it too much, but that is for fun, not for persecution or hate. Although WoW players who devote their life to a game...well, they need a life. People who play WoW regularly are not bad people and I have nothing against them. There is nothing wrong with making a few jokes about it though. I really don't see anybody crying home to mommy because *GASP* they realize it is in jest.

Yeah, that's what I do with the TW games. I get the mods that make it more realistic asap. I'm sure some guy out there mad one already. Probably already have new skins or ship designs or whatever...those fanatics never sleep

Then its a board game against people... It is basically rolling dice the whole time except you get to choose technologies that will determine when and how you throw the dice. It is strategic in a sense, but not enough for my tastes. No more arguing if it is good or not, just I do not think it is that great.

Yeah, you have to be VERY dedicated to it. It is very complicated because some serious players play on fields that are as big as rooms and they make their own units. You thought there were some WoW nuts out there, these guys make them look like rock stars. Not saying it is bad though. The original game looks very fun, but MMOs are not my thing.

Umm...Civilization is about luckily taking out the enemy based on the seed. There is no other way to go about it. I could surround the spearman with tanks and he could still do a lot of damage to all of them. This aspect is stupid because the system relies on luck. I can easily do the economy thing for civilization because it is not hard...barely even strategic. the same goes for the tech tree. All Civilizations is is a giant board game against a computer.

Yeah, they do all sound the same. I don't know if it is because their mics suck or that all mics do that to kid voice frequencies (or whatever scientific reason you can come up with).

I think we tried this before. Some admins were happy with the rules while others were too pissy and thought it violated the players' rights or something like that. My take was that it is an M-Rated game, so if you are not at least 17...do not talk on the mic.
