So everyone who dislikes something for valid reasons is a poor hater? Many people who dislike the iPhone actually own other smart phones that they like better than the iPhone. I highly doubt labeling everyone who doesn't like the iPhone someone who's just jealous because they can't afford one is a valid argument.

I'm not doubting the fact that the World Cup is going to be broadcast in the US. It is a fact that soccer is not as popular as almost every other 'American' sport that is shown on ESPN, etc. The World Cup will probably be shown on some obscure channel like ESPN 8 the Ocho. And it's America as a whole that doesn't have a huge affinity for soccer, not just North Carolina. =P

Well that's because the NFL is out of season, so is the NHL, NBA... doesn't have a game during the time slot and the MLB is meh. You're right in that it will be on later but I highly doubt it would take precedence over a "real" "American" sport.

Yet if it happened during the NFL season, I bet you the NFL would take precedence over the World Cup.

I think if you went into a sports bar here and asked for a soccer game you'd get funny looks. That's if something else worth watching is on.

1) I dislike Apple computers because I like having a right-click and actually being able to game. 2) I dislike iPods because everyone has one and thinks they are unique, hip and trendy, of which they may be only the latter. I use my smartphone as my mp3 player anyway, why do I need two separate devices to do the same thing? 3) iPad = bigger iTouch and is not groundbreaking in any way. Tablets have been around for some time. 4) iTouch/iPhone = 2 reasons. Firstly, AT&T's service has laughable coverage/reliability and I'm on Verizon anyway. Secondly, (*personally*) I prefer the Android OS to the iPhone. And as a whole I just find I don't have much use for any of Apple's products. Good enough reasons?
