To give you an idea as to where I am coming from... I can see this from 3 different perspectives. Student - Currently attending University Parent - I have 2 children in the U.S. School system now. Teacher - I currently am a student teacher for ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) at nights. I also am a certified Referee instructor. All forms of media have their place and use in the classroom. It is up to the teacher to determine what works best for the students in their classrooms. I have seen many different approaches, but every time an ipad, laptop, or phone comes out... the few students that actually want to learn do... the rest find the many different distractions offered there and end up learning nothing. Although I am pro technology in a classroom if it is not restricted and implemented correctly all chance of good educational value goes out the window. For that reason I usually limit the use of tech and stick with more traditional realia (educational materials). If you are a good teacher you can make the class enjoyable and productive without the need for tablets or phones. Classrooms and subjects need to be fluid and adapt to what the students want/need to learn, getting and holding the interest of the students in a way that will benefit them in the long run is the hardest aspect of teaching. Every education system that I have looked at has it's pros/cons. We've all had that teacher that is terrible, and most of us have had an awesome teacher or two we've learned a lot from. Basically the biggest problem facing education in the U.S. to me is the one size fits all mentality.

As much as I personally find PB and TTT to be nothing more than a good way to give myself a headache... I'd keep them around because they bring people to the community. I'd look at cost to value and what is/isn't helping SG. ZE isn't going anywhere.

At one point SG had a merch store, I ordered a t-shirt and hoodie... months later my order was cancelled and I was refunded... I never did get around to having one made on my own...

I'd like to do the lusophone (Portuguese speaking) tour. Get to see quite a bit more of the world w/out requiring that I learn yet another language.... The list is longer than I thought too. I've already been to Brasil several times and would go back tomorrow... What method are you using to connect? Are you trying to connect from the console?

Caution summed it up rather well. I have been part of meetings on behalf of this community in the past. I don't believe that a majority of the community has a realistic view of just how much time and effort is donated by the "higher ups" as they are sometimes called. I would make a list of the people that I can think of that have done a huge service to all of us by donating their time and effort, but I am afraid I would forget someone that deserves to be mentioned. I know some of you think it's funny to post about people like Garfield, Amit, etc. But they looked for personal gain at the expense of what I consider my online home. I can't respect that. I'm not willing to rank the top 10 or so people that have had a major hand in running SG because I don't want to cheapen the time that they have all put in here. Regardless of who was "the best" those that have put SG ahead of their own gaming time have my appreciation and respect!

You'd be surprised how easily those covers can be opened without getting in the car... but yeah, if he has surveillance cams and nothing shows up... the next thing I would look at is not using that same pump at the gas station.

Unless you have a locking gas cap, there is no possible way that you can prove it wasn't siphoned. Either a leak that only happens under pressure (ie: when the cars fuel pump is running), or a siphoning... that's about it. That or the gas stations pump is defective and charged you for more fuel than it gave you.

I'm currently working on the things I'd like to learn. I'm multi-lingual and am working on adding a few additional languages. Am taking art classes and working on improving in that area. I guess the one I haven't progressed much on that I would like to improve is playing guitar.

The only way to get a peaceful JB server where you can understand what is being said is to limit it to 2 players. It's the nature of the mod. 24, 28, doesn't make a difference.
