Lux - Seems like the flaming comes more from you than anyone.. I for one like both. I lived in Brasil for a few years and so I watch the Brasilian national team whenever I can as well as I follow some of the Teams in Brasil. (Vasco da Gama, Palmeiras, etc.) HOWEVER, I also enjoy American Football. As to it being "a pussy version of Rugby" (not sure who posted that comment but it was something close to that) in another thread proves that they've never tried playing it full contact with people that know (or at least somewhat know) how it should be played. I don't disagree that the US didn't earn the Gold. However, Cheating is cheating and shouldn't be tolerated. They should properly investigate and if proven strip the gold medal. I don't care if the US keeps the silver, it's the act of cheating that shouldn't be tolerated.

Those aren't old enough to be "Classic games" Try River Raid on the Atari 2600 or Super Breakout on the intellivision.

Depends on if the XP drivers needed for your hardware are available. On laptops that can be a bit iffy.. but on desktops you can almost always install XP.

Cloud computing isn't viable (nor will it be any time soon). The reliability and stability of internet connections is nowhere near what it would need to be and won't be for quite some time. We run into problems with high end application servers with just a hand full of users. IE: Citrix, Sun SGD, etc. These types of solutions can work ok but won't be replacing a desktop OS for decades.
