  1. Hey, If you're using Windows 7, you may want to disable the auto volume messer thingy on it. It tends to mess with volumes if you have games/voice com software running. You can disable this by doing the following: 1. Click the volume icon in the notification area and when the volume slider appears, click "Mixer". 2. When the main Volume Mixer appears (showing custom volumes for apps and stuff) click the "System Sounds" icon. Then the "Sounds" dialog should pop up. 3. Finally, when the "Sounds" dialog shows, goto the "Communitions" tab, and from the four options, select "Do Nothing". Like the screenshot below... Let me know if this works
  2. Hey dude, If you use FireFox, you can install this add-on called "Greasemonkey". Greasemonkey allows you to customise the way a webpage look using lil bits of JavaScript. This way you dont have to goto third party sites or use third party software all the time and all the links you need is actually on the video page You can get the addon (Greasemonkey) here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748 Anyhow, in relation to your youtube question, you can get a greasemonkey script called "Youtube Video Download" here: http://userscripts.org./scripts/show/54790 And you can download video formats for iPods and other devices using this Greasemonkey script: http://userscripts.org./scripts/show/62634 After installing them two scripts, your Youtube video page will look something like this...
