Spike you are the man. You joined SG not to long after I did. 10 years is a long time. We have been through some great and not so great times our selves. I wish you the best in life, and I just want to say you meet a guy named Suri first, and now you are with a girl named Suri. ;) Wish the best for you and Suri.

Congrats to all the people that got a promotion. I really don't know you, but I am sure you will do a great job. Keep SG going for another 10 years.

SG needs to focus on making the current member base happy at the same time trying to recruit new members. This is not an easy task at all. Members are going to come and go. It's the internet and people have ADD, so staying focused on the current members base only is a recipe for disaster. You have to always look for ways to bring in new people or you will end up dead like many communities. (Yes even TNS - toss that in there since people are thinking it ) I believe the people in charge have a plan, and we as the members need to get behind their plan and support it. Servers are the life line of communities like SG. Have a great forum is a plus, but let's be real people join communities like this for the servers, and while on the server may meet people they end up liking to play with and then keep coming back. SG has a great history of hosting amazing servers, and I don't think that will change. We just need to be willing as members to jump in the servers and help support them. I also believe that Spiked and the team is working hard behind the scene to come up will perks and changes that will help turn this direction around. I had the pleasure of working side by side with spiked for years and the guy has great vision. So with that all said the best thing we can do as members is support the vision and direction the leaders of SG set before us.

I did the same thing. I bought the game and then never played it. If people wanted to play I could always install it and give it a try.

You could do what we used to do. Have a form that can be filled out by members nominating a member. The form would then be submitted and posted as a thread in the AO+ section for the higher ups to look over and pick whoever gets the most submissions. The form would have section for Nominee name, and why they should get Member of the month. Used to work really well for us.

Yes because all your other copies are US. It would not work.

I know in GM Store you have an ingame menu system where you can see yourself, but with CS:S it is done through a webpage, and is not part of the game itself. It is a bit harder to code something like this, but it can be done. When you are using the ingame store in GM you are able to pull the current data of your character very easily, but when you are dealing with an out of game element there is more indeth coding going on here and syncing to the game. I am sure Spiked could figure it out ;)

Some of the post came out the wrong way. I just wanted the info and I can see others did as well, and sure there are more that have not even posted that wanted the info. I have never been great with wording myself and because of that things can be taken the wrong way.

I am fine with Haggard taking money here and there to upgrade his PC. Or for anything else. The reason for this thread was to inform the donors where their money goes. I don't believe it ever has till now. So thank you for the honest answer.

Jager thank you for answering the question. It all I was asking for. Others took the low road with their reply, but thank you for taking the time to give a real answer.

I have also been told money goes else where, and as some one who has donated to SG I would like a real answer of where all the donations go. If the higherups can't be honest about where the money goes I would ask people to 2nd guess their giving's. It's a honest question that should be given a honest answer.
