I recommend the Logitech G930s. Pros: Competent virtual surround and sound quality Decent mic quality Lightweight Battery life almost as long as advertised (about 8-9 hours) 40mm drivers that compete pretty well with 50mm driver gaming headsets I've tried Cons: Pretty plastic-y design Known to have driver issues Might not be comfortable for everyone I've had the G930's for about two years with no issues. They did end up breaking, but it was my fault, and they ended up being far sturdier than I could have guessed. They are a bit pricey, and honestly the only reason I originally picked them up is because they were like $70 on Black Friday, but there usually is some sort of deal on them on Amazon. After they broke I went with the G35s because they were cheaper and essentially the same thing except they are wired instead. What Dirk said is 100% true, but I'm guessing you aren't looking for a $200-300+ headset, and what I suggested will work fine given the drivers don't conflict with anything.
