  1. As many of you probably agree, PB was at its best here with SG between 2008 and 2009. I know a number of the maps from back then are still on the rotation but many are not. If good maps are what you want, why not try revisiting those? I am sure many were removed for good reason but still.
  2. First I can remember breaking 4000 damage. Considering this was the tank that it is and in a tier 8 battle no less, this is a fairly impressive score.
  3. Sounds about right. I bought that tank a long damn time ago. I eventually got so angry with it I just cut my losses and sold it.
  4. Steam Announces SteamOS

    ^ pc gaming is growing
  5. that was a rather funny late night tiny chat. early last summer was it?
  6. Your highest level tank is a 6 I would be happy to platoon with you. BTW. join the SG WoT steam group and make an event when you want to get people on. That way you stand a better chance of people able to play with other people.
  7. So im checking up on the status of the SG WoT community. In the last 30 days we have only had 10 of 36 people active... and 2 of those are Haggard, and another two joined this week. So, if you are still active please let us know. A few of us, are trying hard to keep this afloat. If you have stopped playing, please say why. I am trying my best to get things rolling again. Of course if you have never been a part of SG WoT before just join the clan and start playing with us.
  8. Well, with my example of the dodge sprinter, they took a Mercedes sprinter and put a dodge badge on it. How is that in any way an American car?
  9. Thats not the whole quote. The car was designed by German engineers, built in a Canadian factory and owned by Italians. The only thing on it thats American is the engine and thats the only thing American car companies do really well. So, no, its not an American car but not because the Italians own it but because the majority of it was designed by Germans and built by Canadians. And anyway the thing that typically makes American cars bad is terrible steering, limp suspension, and sub par build quality and the Challenger has none of those problems. You wouldn't call the dodge sprinter an American car would you? Anyway, I fully agree that American car manufacturers have produced nothing but junk for the last 20 years. But the Dodge line developed while Chrysler was owned by Daimler is hardly American. I agree with the rest of your post though. You really cant go wrong with Japanese or German performance. AutoTrader is your friend!
  10. No, they don't. They DID at launch on the SRT have that fake shit. and it was stupid. They dont do that anymore and they never did that on the R/T, the one I mentioned. The Challenger platform is a shortened wheelbase version of the platform used by the charger, which was designed by mercedes-benz and borows the front suspension from an S class and the rear from an E class. The car its self was made in Canada and Dodge is owned by Fiat, an Italian company. So its not really an American car, and as a result is not really shitty. I assure you I was one of the first to laugh at the decals and plastic shit when these things came out but rest assured they cleaned their shit up. All that being said I would still prefer the M3 or M Coupe. I can't tell you much about the Nissan having never driven one. edit: does anyone know anything about the G37 coupe?
  11. It occurs to me that you can buy a Dodge Challenger R/T for $25k new. Just another option. I have spent hours driving that car, the ride quality is excellent yet confidence inspiring (don't expect sports car feedback) and the 400HP is just plain fun. Just make sure you get the manual if you look at one. The manual option is lifted straight from the Viper and is rather good.
  12. You have to give it a break, wait for an update or two to come out and start playing again later.
  13. wrecked their team on this one.
  14. What is it with people thinking German cars are unreliable? Mercedes-Benz makes some of the most reliable cars ever built. The 300D for instance was the taxi of choice in Europe for years and often hit the million mile mark. There is a reason Mercedes is the best selling car in south-africa (yeah you know everyone in south africa is rich as fuck right). The high end of the Mercedes model range is complicated beyond belief and will be a maintenance nightmare but that is not at all representative of the entry level cars people seem to forget. Look how many BMW e30s or Mercedes W124s are still on the road.
  15. Thats true, if you are taking it to the track every other weekend you are probably going to be wearing things out much faster than I am.
  16. When you have to replace parts they arent cheap but I have found all the Z3s to be quite reliable. This might be because they are simpler than their larger BMW counterparts but I have had mine for almost 4 years now (42k miles on it) and the only thing I have had to do is replace the front brake pads/rotors and I bought it knowing they were low. You might also be able to find the newer Z4 version of the car if you look around.
  17. Of those the Nissan is by far the fastest. The BRZ has been made to feel fast, which is kinda cool if thats what you are looking for. Personally I would go with this its in the same price range as the BRZ... but it has 335 HP. It also holds its value quite well which is nice. 2002 BMW M Coupe. A good one can be had for about $20-25k with low mileage. $17-20k with high mileage. http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/hammond-icon-z3-2011-10-17?imageNo=0
  18. The integrated mic MIGHT be fine. Just record yourself speaking and see if it sounds terrible. If your aversion to headphones is the discomfort you get after wearing them for several hours then go get a full-sized pair of circumaural headphones, they can be worn for days without problems.
  19. I would say this counts as a battle worth posting about
