  1. SG TeamSpeak

The voice quality has nothing to do with opinion. The Codecs are higher res. And PMs are not exactly group chat.
  2. wow.

The venom GT has a better power to weight than either of those two. Its weighs half as much as a Veyron, has way more power and handles better for less than half the price. And yes I have seen both IRL parked next to each other. Venom is more impressive.
  3. SG TeamSpeak

If it is an upgrade, which it is, why not give it a try. Sure we don't need to switch but if people are willing to try, why not.
  4. We were talking about this in chatbox and most people agree that teamspeak is better than ventrilo. Also, unlike when we tried mumble, quite a few of us already have teamspeak installed. Features include better sound quality, easy file storage, built in chat boxes, priority speaker, channel commanders (can talk to other commanders across channels), the ability to adjust individual players' volumes, along with a number of management features. Audio codecs available on TS3 range from the lowest bandwidth audio you can imagine up to the superb Opus Stereo Opus Codec with 510kbs stereo sound.
  5. wow.

I had the opportunity to see one running back in 2011. That engine sounds just stunning. An amazing car for sure. I would take it over a veyron super sport any day.
  6. wow.

The crazy thing is that this car has been around for a few years now and they have already started making the "venom GT2" which is like this one but with 400 more horsepower.
  7. wtf that search also comes up with black people eating money.
  8. wow.

not sure where this should go but
  9. be glad you dont have to use machine code
  10. For machine code and assembly language there is a fixed set of instructions available to the processor. The registry will also not be the same between processors ect.
  11. Well what CPU is this for? You need to know the ISA before you can do anything.
  12. So initial complaints seem to be that its too dark and that there isnt enough ammo. I also noticed I managed to put the wrong ammo near the rifles so ill address that asap (how did I miss that one?) I am going to change the lighting to make it brighter and add lights to most of the rooms I had left dark (sounded cool in theory, but just takes up map space with confusingly dark rooms) Anyone else who played this map please chime in. I know I heard a few praises and complaints in the server both would be appreciated. Any ideas would be nice.
  13. Thank you! I will update it to address any complaints people may have.
  14. The only reason to ever get USB is if you either have no spare outputs on your soundcard or your soundcard is trash. The USB headsets essentialy add another soundcard to your PC and that can be annoying. For instance, you cant have a program outputing to your speakers and the headphones without switching audiodevices in the software. On top of that you add a level of complication to them that makes them noticeably less reliable. Lastly, when you use a USB headset you loose the ability to plug it into anything other than a compatible computer so there goes flexibility. Your soundcard is almost certaintly better than the built in one and you cant use an external amplifier when you use USB so I would say stay away unless you have no other choice.
  15. New headset?

Unless you have a bad soundcard (and I mean BAD) stay away from USB headphones. They tend to fail faster, deliver inferior sound (I have used 3 and they all sound bad) and using 2 sound cards (headphones and speakers) complicates things far too much. Plus if you have a high end sound card you are completely wasting it.
  16. bump
  17. If you are on wireless that's not at all surprising.
  18. New headset?

As a side note, there is not a single pair of headphones in existence that can best the Grado Labs SR80i at music reproduction for under $100. They are simply unparalleled in that price range. The Sennheisers are probably better for gaming though. Grado Labs | SR80i
  19. you do know thats Skitzo right?
  20. SGSL v2

    Im interested for sure.
  21. All I have is a Western Digital black and I already don't have time. Clean up your system?
  22. The windows boot loader might not work with linux and its just plain not as good. Use Grub
  23. changing the boot order would work fine. Although there are boot loaders that support choosing between OSs I know if you install linux after windows you can use the linux boot loader to choose windows or linux. But when I did that, it was on a single drive so I am not sure.
  24. I see a number of you have downloaded the map, I would appreciate your thoughts. Obviously I am aware of the shortage of props, but suggestions would still be helpfull. If you have found any major flaws that we missed in early testing please let me know so I can fix it quickly. As far as I know, none such flaws exist.
  25. Map Suggestion Full map name ttt_stalingrad_v1 Type of map TTT Link to map download ttt_stalingrad_v1.zip Additional Information ttt setup from an open source map in the idtech 3 engine.
