I would say no on a new color scheme... I really like the blue and gray... it is clean and easy to read. You could make a non-forum section that has like videos or something. Definitely something for new users too. Right now I think it is a little confusing, maybe like a page for new users that is more in-depth... talks about the different servers and tells them everything...

You don't have to be a gamer to realize that this thing is for computer retards and people who are rich enough to have an uglier computer that does real stuff. The main appeal is not the nice screen or features, but the logo on the front and how the thing looks. It's like designer jeans, you pay 5 times more for that neat tag on the back and some extra stitching.

uhh your steam account crap should transfer if you install steam on a new computer, since most of your stuff is stored on steam servers and not on the computer itself. Problem is, Valve has a really sketchy system so its always risky to switch over.

Yay for the 10 man dinner! If people got to choose where their tax money would go, the gov.t would need an army of accountants and computers to figure out where every dollar should end up. Better to just cut what you don't need than give people the choice. You assume that if you give people the choice, they will stop paying for crap that they don't want and programs that don't work, just eliminate the middleman and do it for em.

the way to end ghettos is to stop having the government build projects and such and concentrate poor people INTO ghettos in the first place. Get poor people into rent programs at real apartments, get them jobs, and cut them off the dole after that. If they don't want to work, leave them, they don't deserve the help.

It's a psychology thing there. Your brain doesn't normally look at a whole face, just a few details. Look at mr. calm, he sorta looks messed up in proportions on his face, when you back away to where your brain only sees a few key details like his eye shape, mouth and forehead, it can't accept that it is a picture of a calm man, but that of an angry one. It is the reverse with angry guy, the details that make him look angry get lost at a distance, while those that make him look nice, like the edges of his face, stay.
