(At least in the state that I left the server in) We're using the default hand models that is already in the game.

It doesn't work like that. Every game session you play, you will have to force a reload WHILE PLAYING to get the new hand models as a player or you will end up with the classic one's again. Rejoining the server or restarting the game will only roll you back to the old hand models. So it has to be reloaded while in the game. Do you see where I'm getting at?

First is that you will have to force YET another model download on the player. So this perhaps COULD have been worth it if it wasn't for the second issue, which is what we encountered with the VIP Mod. For custom hand models to work, you will need to force the client to reload their game basically. If you don't, then they won't load the custom hand models. This can be done for example by typing "record" in console as this is one of the things that forces it. Another one is tabbing in and out of a fullscreen-settings game, which will do the same. As a VALVE are strongly against taking any control over player's in any means, there is NO way you can force a client to reload their game and thus forcing a reload and thereby loading the custom hand models. There is a 3:rd way how ever that DOES work. That would be if you could through the server entirely disarm the client from all its weapons and then give them back. But then you would need some kind of a plugin that disarms the player's weapons and then hand the same weapons back again. And disarming lets say 52 players and then quickly re-arming them again with their weapons would prooooobaaaablyyyy cause just a tad TREMOUNDEOUS amount of lag >. But except for that tiny issue? No problemerino TL;DR - The hand models would probably not properly load unless you find a way to force it, which is basically mission impossible. *Swede disappears back again into his bottle*

I have no idea' about your specs per say since I am not THAT tech sawy when it comes to components. How ever... Before I upgraded my PC and it couldn't handle all games. I would use systemrequirementslab to check if it could run it. The website will require you to download a detection app called "Detection.exe" to your PC. Through that, it will scan your PC and see if it has what it takes. Helpful for any future games you wonder about ;)

I cancelled my pre-order of Oculus rift when I found out how good the Vive seems to be. Not saying that Oculus is better or worse. Just that I'd rather sit down and see what people come up to. Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. It's a lot of money after all. So I'd rather not regret my decision of which one of these two I pick.

Since I personally am a huge fan of ZE myself, I have a hard time to see why so few other admins prefer to play on ZE. But biggest reasons I've heard is to the chaos that is not rare -that happens on ZE. Which is some what understandable due to our high player count. But an easy solution would be to simply call for help on our chatbox, in our TS2-server or add some of our admins to your friendlist on steam. Call them whenever you see a rulebreaker on the server and you will most certainly find somebody willing to hop on and deal with the situation. Should this fail just submit a player complaint and I assure you that the player complaint will be dealt with accordingly. Just remember that all our admins are doing it for free. I hope this clarified some of your concerns.

Before I joined SG I had jumped around many different servers. Never really enjoyed playing in european communities. Americans tend to be more polite, so I looked across the pond and found SG. Joined the forums in 2010 and got to learn you guys. It was never really that much about the games. It was about being part of something. Getting to know you guys and playing the games with you and becoming friends. It's about the joy of when Paralyzed robbed me clean in my apartment on P3RP, how High/Thor shot me into an electric fence on ZE and got me killed, how Bread taught me how to beat the seemingly impossible parts on skill surf, how ExRev abused me on PB, how I beaten ultra difficulty on ze_predator with Riperzz guidance, how MPQC rescued me from being killed by zombies on L4D2, how Hilner would help me on the course maps on SG, how half this community would request Rebecka Black - Friday back when I was a DJ. I could share 10 times as many memories but it would get a bit dull. Point is... Thank you all for my memories you guys have given me. I will never forget the moments we have had and the moments we are about to have. You're all my family.
