lolz, those two types of games dont sound very basic to make ;)

hmm, its a pretty basic game, some of the hit tests are very dogy, like the saws for example, mainly that cos the way they work, with squares. Are you using a virtual camera and moving the player around? or are you moving everything except for the player? that might be a small improvement to look into if you havnt already. The graphics need a bit of work, at the moment you just have basic shapes, with the default line size, which looks a bit dodgy, even if you had made the lines a little larger i think it might have been an improvement Its a good idea, you just need to keep working on it. The main thing to get sorted though are the hittests, as they make the game seem very buggy because you can die when you seem to just miss the saw blades and lazers, but then you would need to maybe split it up into multiple sections to do a hitTest with the player.

this thing is so annoying. last night i had to press login about 30 times to get it to work, then like another 100 times to connect to the server. Also probably cos there are more people like me, its making it even worse xD

As i scrolled down the page, i could instantly read the tech admin and supporter user bars. All the others are harder to read. There are a number of things that i believe make it harder to read. The font set in all caps. The size of that specific font at that specific size makes the letters harder to make out when glancing at them. I think the colours, even if just for the user bars was a really good idea, i think removing colours will be a backwards step. Also inbetween the little letters and the username there needs to be a little more space imo. GarfieldH

Does this happen when the speakers arnt plugged into anything, just into the mains? Does it still happen if you try folding the cables up to shorted them. Try wrapping your cables in tin foil to see if that happens. Try encasing your speakers in copper plated boxes. But what will most probably solve it, will be getting some Ferrite rings. Not sure how banks and stuff work in the usa, but its not that hard to do. I wanted to use paypal at about the age of 13, i went and signed up for a bank account, and used my cash point card with paypal. It was a pain at first, but once youve got it done its alright. Obviously debit or credit card is easier though

I did read something on the front page about someone going to set up a Minecraft server, but i guess that will be dodgy seeing its still in beta, as long as people still stick with Minecraft to the release i guess this will be a lot easier, its definitely something i would be interested in. As for portal 2. Its quite a long way off at the moment, and we don't really have any idea how multiplayer will work? i got the feeling that it was more coop with two players. So it would be more like how Left 4 Dead servers work, except even less players
