  1. they have a video-recording tripod in the corner. whoever finds their stash will either laugh unstoppably, or be scarred for life O.O
  2. So you became awesome?

    Oh no. You always were.

  3. I've seen one and had one. Yes.
  4. New video card

I have had very bad personal experience with the GTX 465. It is very poor with heat, but seem to do better when you spank the fan up, and then its loud. If the GTX 460 is out of your price range, id recommend you go outside of your comfort zone and buy ATI. Supposedly, DirectX11 support is something to get, and the gtx 200 series doesnt have DX11 support. My vote is, either buy a Radeon 5770 or the GTX 460. At that point, just go based on price. Youll get a little less performance with the 5770, but then again its priced less. But, i'd pick from one of those two. -ALSO-: make sure you look into how fast your processor is. If your processor is too slow, you might end buying too much GPU, and wasting the extra power.
  5. If i were you, i'd just overclock the processor i already have. To upgrade a processor in a laptop (most of the time) isnt hard: A couple screws, remove a plate or two, losen the heatsink, and replace the processor. The down side is, your processor (when it comes to laptops), isnt -THAT- bad. My guess would be, from what youre saying, that your GPU (graphics card) is the low quality piece (and that is, a high percentage of the time, not changable). Could you post more specs of your computer, maybe? # gb ram, screen size, resolution, GPU, etc? P.S.: Your CPU is at least 3x faster than a pentium 4. A current 'pentium 4 equivalent' is an atom (1.6gghz) processor, which comes in netbooks.
  6. Most laptop (2.5") drives and slots in the PC are the same size, so you should be good there. Buy 5400 RPM if you want to 'reduce heat and power usage'. As for the external DVD drive... I know you can install windows through external DVD drive (you may need to install drivers), USB thumb stick (very convenient, should be 4-16gb depending on the windows youre installing), and you can even install it through SD/XD Card! So, you shouldnt have any worry there either. Keep in mind, If you keep throwing money at your computer, you could probably just buy a new one for a decent price/better price than the mass upgrades. Always make sure what youre doing on it is worthwhile! P.S.: Prostar
  7. xbox 360

Hmm. did your friend try to mod his xbox and fail miserably? My friend likes to tinker with all the electronics he has. He tried to mod his xbox, screwed up in the process, and now his drive has no firmware to run it. Aka, no opening, no closing, no reading, etc. If it doesnt open/close, theres most likely a bigger problem with it. This is different than drox's issue, which is a failing laser. P.S.: You cannot just buy a new DVD-drive for the xbox like you can for a ps3 or PC. The motherboard and the drive have a key/code that connect and bind them, and without that code you cant even install a new drive.
  8. I vote all out war SG versus HG. All combat must be done in the form of American Gladiator's competitions. Winner gains total domination.
