  12. In today's military it's almost viewed as mandatory, or a rite of passage. People who haven't deployed will have a harder time gaining rank. Also if you're in a combat arms unit people tend to take slick sleeves less seriously.

  16. After nearly 15 months sleeping in a cot in a canvas tent that smelled like AIDS in Iraq, I'm pretty far from "picky". So Yeah, you stayed in a hotel, I stayed in a whore house in the ghetto. Big difference pal.
  17. I'm in Bergen now. It's a lot better than Oslo, although this place is covered in graffiti as well. I just paid 17 dollars for a fucking beer. I'm overall disappointed in Norway.

  20. I'm in a hostel in Oslo writing this. This city is by far the worst place I've visited in Europe so far. This place is filled with shady migrant workers, prostitutes, beggars on every street corner, graffiti on damn near every building, and has an unusual amount of animal shit on the streets. Norway pls..

  24. Yeah I figured I would find a hostel to stay in each city, and just walk around a bit. See some museums, the architecture, the nature, the women (and the men). lollll. Does Bergen have any good bars? I feel like sitting down and drinking in a 500 year old Norwegian bar and listening to some old fisherman tell his tales xD
