Valid points indeed. There is the load-friendly option of just enabling already existing skins, like each teams own skins, if that is possible without causing too much extra load to servers - and it's only a suggestion. Also, little off topic there since we're discussing about having skin for being on forums. It's not really necessarily a "necessity," but it would be cool.

Well it's always nice to have downloads to a bare minimum with the load that it gives to bandwidth and loading times, some people prefer to it over everything. I wouldn't leave the requirements too low for anything that's "bonus" or similar, just would have spammers come in indeed. Registering, posting a few times and then going inactive just won't do and that should be self-explanatory reason enough. I second this, having the games original skins would make a small difference, but a difference which could drag in some attention. Myself for one, i would enjoy having the choice to select different looks at times.. Same skins sort of start to bore you quite quickly too.

Like people are saying, it would be neat to have merchandise but downside is usually having upfront costs. If it doesn't cost for the community, we get right people on it, it could be pulled off.

Not so basic but possible. ;) I dig the looks of stuff on forum and ingame but could use just a bit of customization options. On forum nothing too fancy but couple different themes that doesn't mess the structure and ingame some skins to keep things more interesting.

Have you tried the usual fixes and stuff like that? It is possible you have an incorrect entity and it's also possible to relate to having the Hammer Editor read an invalid value of your level design in that case, which then leads to a crash in the first place. I'd prefer you first check your content that it doesn't conflict with what you're trying to create, and then see about fixes for the actual software.

Patience is a virtue. It might take some time to handle donations and such. Also as tinkerbell stated before, it might take time to process and this usually varies between a day up to two weeks (usually). In cases where it takes longer than a week, could almost recommend contact BD's and higher on rank if you are starting to doubt that has your donation reached us or not.

I'm pretty confident that it is about your configuration file or graphics drivers. Either way, try change some of the settings ingame from your graphics settings and if that doesn't work, see from http://ati.amd.com/ if there is updated drivers for your graphics card.

Battery life is about 2 hours if using power reserving settings and only browsing on web.

Depends really what there is in your area. I know mostly just Finnish stores etc. the best.. Just one common tip; Try to get the usual parts from compatible partners. Personally I use AMD-ATI PC at the moment where I got an AMD Athlon X2 processor, AMD chipset and Ati Graphics card.. Some chipsets can cause issues with different manufacturer graphics cards like; If your motherboard has a AMD/ATI chipset, it might not work well together with an nVidia graphics card.. Depends on the chipset of course. Most of time it is up to you what kind of PC you want and what type of budget you have. I usually try go with low-end budget with high and smooth performance. Current configuration I have has cost about 900 USD tops (including all upgrades past 5 months) and yet I have rather smooth FPS in Cod6, Modern Warfare2 with 2xAnti-Aliasing. For example some parts for fairly good setup would go as follow without too much checking on price tag; Processor; Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz Motherboard; Asus P5QL-PRO S775 Graphics; GeForce GTX 275 896 MB, PCI-E Harddrive; Seagate Barracuda 500GB RAM; OCZ DDR2 4GB Kit 800MHz -- Somewhat total cost for these is around $750 (usd) where I live, with the average costs. Yet with the above setup you wouldnt probably have to renew the PC for quite a while even if you got Win7 for it and gamed quite some.

PSD files are what Photoshop uses for storing all the data directly linked into editing.. PNG format then again is format that stores transparency etc effects if you want those in your signature. Also PNG is far better quality than GIF, but GIF is used for animated images and so on..
