The problem is your focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. Wrong. Some of the old PS3's (The 20/60/80 gig versions) have backwards compatibility, the slim does not. I too would recommend a PS3 over 360. I have had both consoles since launch and just love the quality of my PS3. The system is much quieter than the 360, Blu-ray, HDMI, Integrated psu and wireless, Free multiplayer, and this is just off the top of my head.
