You really didnt tell us enough information. You should try some troubleshooting and find out specifically what your problem is. Then we might be able to forward you to some good solutions. But from what it sounds like with the info you did give, it must be your audio card or your audio drivers. Just because the audio output part of your card works, doesnt mean the audio input does. And the age of your computer means nothing, for all I know your computer came with a crappy integrated card that has become corrupted by now.

Get a new audio card.

first of all lol serious? Second of all the games coming on Windows are still console exclusive to the 360. PC is not a console and most people's PCs are far worse than 360's hardware. Who really gives a fuck about blu-ray anyways? And of all the exclusive games to ps3 the only decent ones are Kill Zone and God of War, the rest suck ass so who cares. Quit calling me an idiot. It's hard for me to even take you serious or respect your opinion when you do so. Because all you are doing is making yourself look like a douchebag.

lol 360 haters. PC's will always have better graphics because they are updated all the time and consoles only every few years. PS3 is far worse than 360 imo. It has many glitch issues with games and lower fps than the 360 gets. But graphics aside, I think Gameplay and Story are more important than Graphics. Which 360 still wins imo, better exclusive games.
