  1. Hey everyone, I know this is a little strange of a request, but I have a really good friend who is currently involved in a Dean Guitars contest, and he could really use everyone's help. http://www.deanguitars.com/shredder/viewProfile.php?id=2920 If any of you could find the time to visit his page and vote him an 11, I would greatly appreciate it.
  2. Chaos Zealot here. I've always been a big fan of healing classes, so I'd feel most comfortable in that role.
  3. Death Magnetic

As a die hard Metallica fan, I made sure to order the 130 some dollar collection for the new album. This thing rocks! They've gone back to the sound between ...And Justice For All and The Black Album. Everything is heavier, thrashier, and just better than Load, Reload, and St. Anger. But, people need to get it in there head that they're never going to sounds like they did on the first three albums. These guys are nearing 50 for fuck sake, and the fact that they even decided to continue making new albums is awesome. By the way, a leaked version of the album was released last week, and it's much better than just TDTNC(which is a ballad, so don't expect the whole album to be the same). Songs like End of the Line, All Nightmare Long, and The Judas Kiss are the best songs they've done in years. If you don't want to buy the album, at least look it up on youtube, they've got all the songs already.
  4. Fileplanet account

I just payed for it after using the key you gave me for the Warhammer Online beta (Thanks again!), and I must say, it's nice being able to skip the terribly long wait line with a free account. Although I do plan on canceling the account as soon as possible, because there's just not much incentive to keep it active throughout the year.
  5. Apparently pre-ordering the game from Gamestop doesn't guarantee you a beta key, as I went today and they were all out. Looks like I'm waiting for the 17th.
  6. I'd be down for it. I've been considering getting this game for quite some time, and I'm sure this would sway my decision. And being as big a fan as I am with Chaos Space Marines in 40k, the Chaos faction is too good to pass up. Think I'll have to wait for the retail game to come out though, I have no idea how to obtain a open-beta pass.
  7. Man, you sound so literate over the mic in game, but fuck, you type like an 8 year old.

  8. Nice freakin' sig! I loved that game back when it was popluar. Did you ever play it?

  9. Happy Birthday, old-timer.
  10. I am a "Foxy Sex God who likes to sit on cunts" I'll take it.
  11. Sweet! It's even slower now!
  12. Top5 PC Games

    1. Battlefield 1942. I played this up until Battlefield 2 came out, and even past it. Mods such as Desert Combat and Forgotten Hope were absolutely amazing, and really kept me playing. 2. Half Life 2. With the Source engine and all the mods spawned from it, this has to be my new favorite game to play. 3. Half Life 1. Really set the standard for First Person Shooters to come, and the mods that came out of it were very fun. 4. Starcraft. Best RTS, enough said. 5. Rainbow Six Vegas. I originally started out with this on the Xbox 360 and loved it, then eventually bought it for the PC. The guns, the AI, the combat, made this one of my top games of all time.
  13. Scientology Nuts

"Clean and ethical"? How can they say that with a straight face? Were Operation Snow White and Operation Freakout "clean and ethical"? Was the whole Lisa McPherson thing "clean and ethical"? Is the harassment by the Church against critics and opponents of Scientology "clean and ethical"? These people are pathetic and should be ashamed.
  14. As a big fan of the Alien Quadrilogy, I played this game religiously. After a while, I got disinterested in it, mostly due to the fact of better games being released, including AVP2. I few weeks ago I decided to give it a try, and I found that there really weren't enough people on anymore to start playing again. Hopefully, NS 2 will be as good, if not better, than the first one.
  15. I listen to a LOT of Metallica, no matter what album. True their earlier stuff was FAR better than later albums like Re-Load and St. Anger, but it's still Metallica. Other stuff I listen to ranges from 80s Hair Metal and Heavy Metal, to some of the newer metal (whatever you call it), and some classic stuff from the 60s and 70s. Rap, Country, and the new emo/puss-rock are absolutely horrid, in my opinion.
  16. The game really isn't geared towards fast paced action. If you're looking for something like that, play the Command and Conquer Series, Warcraft series, Starcraft, etc.. After playing this game for a few weeks, I've found that I can become so immersed into it, that I can be playing for 10 hours straight, and not even realize it. It may take a REALLY long time to accomplish anything, but it's very rewarding when you finally do. In terms of the races, I find TEC to be easy-mode, Vasari tend to have better technology, and the Advent have some really spectacular defensive abilities. Personally, I haven't stuck to any one race as I've been trying to find the strengths and weaknesses of each, and use them to my advantage. Also, some of the battles you can face are by far some of the BEST I've ever seen. Several hundred ships facing off against each other is a sight to behold. All in all, I'd say, if you're looking for a fast paced game, where the objective is to just rush the enemy, you want to stay away from this game. But if you're looking for a more an economic game that eventually leads to massive battles, however long that may take, this is your game.
