My earliest memory was the non-existant admin application process in the ZM era. When I applied to be an admin, it was my first day on the forums and it was my first post. My admin application was pretty much me just saying that I wanted to be an admin. I had played on our servers for about 4 days and never been on the vent, and Henda approved my admin application single-handedly in under 2 hours. I am reasonably sure I have the shortest period between application and approval in SG history. Ooo, and then I got AO two months later lol... Take that all you new admins who had to fill out an actual application and be voted on.

Most people dont notice it because it is so subtle at first. Many people can fall into the trap without ever realizing it. It cannot be combatted by any earthly means. It really takes becoming an AO or BD to become fully aware of how much our community is run by the gay agenda. Or you could have just taken the fast way and been online with either a drunk Haggard or Garefield. Both guarenteed gay harassment.

Please don't make me post that picture again... Basically what I am implying is that you have not yet experienced the deep homoerotic tensions which pervade every aspect of this community. In time young padawan, you will learn the gay way, and songs such as this will be music to thine ears.

The pistol permit is relatively easy to get, it just takes upwards of 6 months of wait time for some counties though. The Concealed Carry permit is the real bitch. I know down here in Ontario County it is almost a shall-issue county, and im pretty sure its the same up in Monroe County, but in many counties it is essentially a non-issue county. Note: By easy, I mean it requires a number of different steps, but none of them are particularly harsh. Application, small fee, fingerprinting, character references etc. Such requirements would be considered very difficult by other state's standards, but anyone who lives in New York knows that bureaucratic bullshit is the norm, and compared to other things, this is a cakewalk.
