Thanks, though I really don't want to spend that much. It's not that I can't buy it outright, I just don't want to overspend. I'm not going to get a job at all whilst at uni.... all saved up It does look nice, the GPU is ok but then the Samsung one I linked has a better GPU. Seems very hard to find something in the £650-£750 price range. I don't mind Windows 7 or even no OS at all (I can just acquire it anyway...). Hey guys, I'm going to uni (better late than never) and not planning on bringing my PC so I need to get a laptop. I've been struggling to find what I'm after... generally looking for it to be able to play games e.g. Rome Total War (by no means high settings), Dota 2 etc... Also looking for 1080p, preferably Dual core i5, don't want to overdo it on i7 or quad core as it overheats and kills the battery life. I'm trying to look for around 4 hours battery life. Now that my Cromwell is fully upgraded and I don't have to live with that dam derp gun..... I am doing very well. It does bite bullets hard, won't bounce much...... but it's very mobile and has a very decent, high ROT gun.

Judging by 99% of Lee players, there is no help. The M4 is beastly though. The derp is incredibly frustrating, and it's a pretty nifty, compact tank so it does very very well in an T5> matches. Causes lots of problems for T6 tanks too. T1 is the better line to follow and is a monster.

When I play in my ELC AMX (T5 French light tank... probably the fastest tank in the game?) I get matched with T8's/9's and that's not too strange. The job is to be a scout. You don't go in head on and get blown up. Luckily with that particular tank, it has a beastly gun that can do some damage even to big tanks... either you go near the front, get near cover and sight tanks... or you stick wayyyyyyyyy at the back and snipe from far away. Later on into the game you can think about going around the sides after arty or to flank.

The only annoying tiers for me were 3/4. I kept getting matched with T5's and even T6's which took the piss... was canon fodder. It does depend on what tank you choose though. PzIII... terrible T4, no penetration or accuracy, but it's a scout so it gets matched with higher tiers. No chance... AMX38/40.... FML. The worst possible grind there is. Funny how the ELC AMX is so different. Even when I get matched with T9's it's not that bad... Hetzer... great fun early on. PZIC too.

I don't get the big problem with these "restrictions". Everyone who is here has internet access. Think about it...how often are you going to be without internet access, and in a place where you can and at the time want to play the Xbox One? I'm trying to be open minded here... but I don't think it's going to effect that many people. Both have good exclusives... I wouldn't pick a console due to it. Just a personal opinion, but then I've managed to not touch God of War or Uncharted the whole time I've had a PS3. I'll probably just find out what my friends are generally getting, and look to get that. I don't care for screaming retards on consoles, I only want to smash my friends at FIFA ;)

Tomb Raider is a good shout. If you have a PS3, The Last of Us is just what you're looking for too.

I get what you're saying, but it's not really what I do lol. I'll pay for something if it's worth it. Sure, World of Tanks being free is great. But what I'm paying for is extra content, not World of Tanks. I think you have to decide for yourself if what you're paying for is worth it, and have your own reasons. My $50 is not life or death for them. Hate to say it, but if other people are going to pay a lot of money and keep the game going, that particular aspect does not concern me. Whether I pay or not, others still will That's not to say I won't pay for stuff. I did spend $7 so I could get a few garage spots. But for me, that's because I can't get it otherwise. A grind does not bother me enough to spend $50 on a tank. That's the only difference.

I play on the US servers and do not really notice it. Unlike a game like CSS the difference is not very noticeable. Fuck that. Premium - Almost $100 a year. I will admit some of the grinds (amx40..) have been so.... SO boring and frustrating... also in the later stages making money is quite tedious, I can't upgrade tanks because I have no credits. Lowe T8 Premium tank - Over $50..... for a tank on a game. Personal opinion..... ridiculous. I suppose it's up to people how they want to spend money. I'm quite content with how I've done without spending much (I spent $7 to get enough to buy extra garage slots).
