The thing with Wii is....how many old people do you see playing Super Smash Brothers??? How many 40 year old women do you see playing Nintendogs?? They want to have a wide market but there just isn't that many people who will play. The games that they make for their wider market are completely useless, they disgrace the whole meaning of "games", but I think this is more of a problem with the Handheld. Also it quality doesn't mean change. The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the field...or in this case....The games with Wii remotes on the other side of pwn mountain suck.

Yeah I'm just in a bad mood, Venomous and Tampon were driving me crazy.. But hand controller wise, I have always liked the PS controllers, the Xbox's is alot bigger and whilst its not impossible to use it just seems less practicle. When you consider that the PS controller barely uses the arrow buttons at all the analogs are pretty easy to use, and I think that the 360's set up is a bit stranger, especially with the left analog and arrow buttons being switched.

lol ok I will back off the Galaxy, I forgot what sort of game it is. On the other hand, I stick by my criticism of Super Smash Brothers. I'm sorry but I'm not a dull person, I'm just not a 5 year old. When I was 7, I enjoyed playing Tekken. Yay happy to fight a random dude with some stupid moves in an arena the size of a box. Tell me where the fun is? It doesn't even matter about online, it might be fun for a bit...but I have played it and after about 3 rounds of laughing at how Jigglypuff flies I got bored. Also Solanum I don't own a Wii, but I have played many games on it, due to when my cousin occasionally visits, and he brings it along. Great games don't need to function with a stupid gimmick like the wii remote. Yeah you could put in a normal controller, and to be honest its better because it doesn't mess up when you flick your wrist, but the whole game is so.....rubbish. I'm not saying all games are, but looking at the majority of games excluding Galaxy and Zelda, I just don't see how you could like it. Super Smash Brothers....like every other mini fighting game (Dead or alive, Tekken) its plain and boring. Metroid...After searching it on the internet I recognise it as the first game I ever had when I was three. I don't remember much about it, but I'm guessing its a bit like Galaxy. Which in my opinion isn't the best game, but it is entertaining. Boom Blox...do I even have to play it to know how rubbish this game is?? Basically sometimes I go a little over the top, and after a bit of time I reconsider things. I'm not saying I wouldn't play this over nothing at all, but when it comes to the real consoles with the real games, this just doesn't have a hope. Lastly...Solanum I think you should take back your opinion of the PS3 being a hardware console. You state the Xbox as having great games, but when it comes to it they are pretty neck and neck game wise, and it just happens that the PS3 has better hardware aswell. Er...also I don't correct people when they make spelling mistakes, I wouldn't be so sad as to point out something on an internet forum where spelling means..........NOTHING.

Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Brothers aren't the occasional "good games" They are all good when you have your mates around for a while (but how often does that happen?) and then they are boring. The attempt to WOW us with the stupid remote and make it so that the game completely uses every single thing possible with the remote has failed. Multiplayer with friends was never bad with GOOD games , and normal hand controls.

Well trap is hardly a proper map, the ways you can die on that mean tking is barely onpurpose. But things like this have happened to me. On deathrun on my first go of the map I killed like 5 people by falling through the glass in that big room full of explosive barrels. Er also on boatescape I was in the pod shooting zombies and my pod glitched, I hit myself and this caused me to knock several people into the water :mellow:

That is exactly what I hate it. Its all fun and joy when its you in the grass but what about when the other team has 20 people doing it and you are the headless chicken in the middle? I just don't see the fun it, where as a counter strike map is wayyyyyyy different.

I think that usual members only being allowed 1image/line in their signature is a bit pointless. All the admins get more so... If it is because you don't want people spamming images, could you not make it so that people with over 100 posts could have about 5 lines or 2 images or something like that?

Dudes....stop listing games that are actually on the PS3 TOO. GTA is SLIGHTLY better on the 360, but it isn't AT ALL something which would make you want it more...because the online alone is great, an extra island is worthless. COD4, Assassins Creed...both on the PS3. Senior seems to think that the 360 has thousands more games, but considering there are only a HANDFUL of 360 exclusive games, and virtually every other non retarded wii game is actually on the PS3. Friends wise, PS3 is no worse than the 360. To be perfectly honest...I know NO ONE who has a 360, except some rich dick who has all the consoles. Maybe it is just where I live, because one guy got the PS3 everyone did but....the PS3 is just BETTER, I too have my former geography teacher added as a friend, and its not hard to make new friends either, in GTA you can wander into free modes and meet many people, you'll probly need a mic to actually get to know them but thats not really a problem... Finally something I forgot to mention...the 360 BREAKS ALL THE TIME. I admit my PS3 broke within 2 weeks of me getting it, but it is a very rare problem and once I got a new one replaced for free with the guaranteed 1 year warantee it hasn't had any problems since, not even a disc not reading, its just been perfect. and again...any 360 exclusive game (I think) is available on the PC, if you even wanted any of the games. If you don't buy that many games it doesn't really matter, I just buy some fundamental games that I keep such as FIFA 08 and GTA4 and the rest I get a good return on and buy another game.

PS3 is better, and with that you get a higher pricetag but depends on how much you want it. Firstly, most of the games you get on the 360 are on the PS3, and the ones that you can't get like Halo (shit) don't even matter, and then you could always buy them on the pc anyway. The PS3 has its own good games and to be honest the hand controller is alot easier to use. Ontop of that you have the graphics, not the most important thing but with HD DVDs being discontinued Blu-ray comes out on top. Also XBOX guys claim that their online is better, but realistically this isn't true anymore. When you compare the onlines of FIFA 08 on both consoles, there is no difference at all, and other games like COD4 too. Also you don't have to pay for PS3 online, and the incoming updates of the PS3 are slowly pulling it further ahead.

The upgrades in cod4 make it EVEN WORSE. The thing with games with upgrades, rpgs come to mind also, the only way you are going to be good is if you whore the game until you are the highest rank or there about. I don't enjoy playing hours of gaming against people who have better weapons than me for the plain reason that they play more. Its not a level playing field, when you are the highest you are a bit of a jerk to enjoy killing people who have some shit aim guns and no perks, and if you are the guy with shit aim guns and no perks you just want to throw the game away, or if you are really that sad you play through the hours of gaming where you get raped just to rape some other people unfairly, pointless?

Why have a gun??? If you have a gun, you are more likely to kill people. You say its to protect people from other guns, but if they weren't legal there wouldn't be any. Look at the UK, gun crime is well, almost non existant but knife crime is quite high, its not hard to make something sharp but hey...better than guns.
