Anyone who's savvy enough to know about the names of cards and their performances would probably understand that a card almost double the price is going to be better even if it's 1 year older.

I think you're missing the point here. You can go to a concert to listen to stupid music, have a good time and watch a hologram anime girl dance........(no one is going to physically stop you and if the people behind this can take money off some chumps then obviously they'll do it)........ but that doesn't mean your average person is going to be impressed by it. Concert without real person = vege burger. Special guys will like it but it's not the same thing. Your question to me was "Why are YOU hatin?" .....not "Why is 100% of the world hating?" I'm not going to answer for other people, just me.

Not really. It's pretty expensive...and I live on the outer part of London and it's still fairly busy but there's lots of side roads in the middle of the day with no one driving so I wouldn't say traffic is a problem really...but it's annoying when you're behind a learner for like 10 minutes and they're driving at 10-20mph

The whole point of a concert other than to mosh is to see your favourites bands/artists in person. It doesn't matter if I like the music? Er....pretty sure how good the music is matters. It's pretty cool how they do it but it's not awesome......if it was 10 years ago ok but now? It's not really that new.....

It's cheaper. I've got the 6870 and as an example I was playing Bad Company 2 campaign and max settings on most things and up to 8x anti aliasing was running at 60 fps+ even with explosions n shit. I got the Sapphire 6870 for £175 All these higher quality cards are just ridiculously priced.....

Barely anyone plays older games now though. I bought some on the PSN store and it's just not the same now.....back in the day when they were new thing sure.....they were great. But now......just no. USB slots wise....if you really need more than 2 slots (which is very unlikely.......) then just buy one of those thingies that plugs into the USB slot and creates more slots...... Get the Slim. It's smaller, uses less energy (so saves you money in the long run), bigger hard drive.......and pretty sure it's less likely to get the Yellow ring of death.....that's something more characteristic of the fat models. I've got both and the fat is like an oven......it gets hotter than the slim. It might cost a bit more, but it's better, and worth it.
