  1. I've always been the good one for the sake of my friends. They went over the top on MDMA and Cocaine... literally put me off both of those for sure, luckily I helped them out of that. Maybe when/if I go to uni in 5 months I'll try something, would be a bit of a boring dick if I didn't.
  2. Hogs of War.... classic First ever game... 2 years old.. Metroid First football game.. Adidas Power Soccer. I knew a glitch to score from facing backwards on the half way line. FIFA 2000... you could press R2 to do a massively dirty tackle and get sent off. Could get the game to be abandoned easily. This game has never died on me. They just released it onto Steam in HD, it's still a great game. Empires Dawn of the Modern World. Great campaigns... and you could go from old times to WW2 in one game.... kind of like Civilization but real time. The best turn based RTS, no game since has surpassed it but hopefully the new Rome Total War 2 will. Favourite arcade game Game of my highschool...
  3. myssssssssssssssssssssssteeek

  4. Bye guyz!!

I'm obviously not aware of how it fully works :/.
  5. Bye guyz!!

Would've thought you'd go for the air force with you flying planes?
  6. I've always known I should study harder and I could achieve a lot more. But I've been too lazy for that, not enough "drive"... so I wouldn't say we never agreed, I just didn't do it and accepted how it is. I get on with my parents well I can't think of anything we don't agree on that is relevant.
  7. Thread of James plz. I would go with pasta carbonara.
  8. where areeee youuuu??? Sorry bro been busy over the weekend ;)...... friend's 21st

  9. Not particularly a fan of Origin for a fairly lame reason. But that aside, it's good competition for Steam. That always has to be a good thing. I don't see the problem with Origin, I used it for BF3 and it downloaded quickly and worked fine. In regards to Sim City...... it was only 5 days. It's frustrating when you're eager to play the game, but it's only 5 days. Not true.
  10. How do you exercise?

The company I work for lists restaurants/takeaways to order from. It'd be a conflict of interest if I exercised
  11. Yeah, as I said, it's the day after.
  12. The premier..... for the trailer -.- Funnily enough, it's the day after
  13. Because you're arguing the semantics of what is and is not "easily accessible". People don't always base their lives and everything they say off that of the worst people. Ignorant? Sometimes, maybe.... but it'd be wrong to assume so. Greco-Roman wrestling has been around since caveman times? Nope. It being an event so long ago doesn't mean it still should be now. I'm sure it counts towards it's argument, but it's not really enough. Time goes by, we move on. The thing about the other original events is that they are big spectator sports. They happen within the stadium. Obviously, it's not just my opinion, otherwise it wouldn't have been removed. The reason that squash is not an Olympic sport is simply because they think it's too hard for spectators to see the ball. People enjoy bird watching, train spotting etc. Either it's obviously not entertaining enough, televised enough, watched enough etc Every sport has it's fans and people who will argue for it.... but the Olympics can't have every sport. It already being an Olympic sport doesn't mean it's safe guarded, if that were the case nothing would get added and nothing would get removed. I never said equal participation shouldn't be considered a factor, but it shouldn't be the only one. As has been proved with so many other sports.... and how many developing countries even compete in wrestling anyway? I can't think of many. It's one of those sports where you need to travel around the world to compete in events, something that not many can afford. With women, it's not the same. Why do some countries not compete in certain sports? Because they can't. Why would a woman not be able to? Evidently they can, and if you can have equality then have as much of it as possible. What pays the bills, equality or tradition? Hosting the Olympics is expensive, they want to sell television rights and tickets. It's not just about tradition and equality, or money either. I know you like to make assumptions and troll but it's boring. If you want to add an event, one has to be removed. The Olympics is a two week event, it's not feasible to keep adding events. If you want to add one, one must go. For you, maybe, there is "no good reason" to get rid of wrestling, but obviously the Olympic Committee found one.... or at least found more of a reason than with other events.
  14. If somebody tries to access your account from somewhere strange it notifies you, suggests you change your password etc. Someone random from the USA tried to login to my gmail account, thought I might as well change the password to be safe. Hackers... please hack me and buy lots of games. My password is isoldsgforamac
  15. The criteria for a sport being in the Olympics or not is not based on whether every nation in the world is going to compete in it or not. Obviously, that is a nice goal, but most events don't work like that. Sure, there's not much chance of a poor Indian kid in Delhi becoming a golf star, non probably. But India itself does have golf courses and it has golf players (not necessarily world class players, but it is an emerging sport). You could list so many sports and say "can he do it?" and the answer would be "No, not really." Is the internet easily accessible? Yes, it really is. Is it easily accessible to poor kids in Africa? No, it isn't. Sure, it's always good to think further than yourself, or your country, but constantly basing everything on a certain extreme is counter productive. End of the day, wrestling is not a highly televised sport. It's obviously not a particularly entertaining sport, most of the other combat sports are preferred. I'm sure there are other sports, personally I think there's quite a lot of shooting classes and it's not necessary.. but sports come and go, wrestling isn't a big loss.
  16. I don't think anyone here (in the UK) will be complaining. I've seen that wrestling is fairly big in America. But over here it's simply not, you go through school without ever doing it. I'm assuming that's why it has been axed.... because it's not celebrated at all. It's a dead sport, people aren't generally interested in watching it. There can only be so many medals and so many events. It has to fit into a schedule. -- Golf is a big sport. Originally, the idea of golf being in the Olympics was ignored because it's supposed to be non-professional. But nowadays, quite a few sports in the Olympics are professional. Tennis is there, so there's no reason not to have golf. That's not necessarily true. I've played golf my whole life and you can play it without spending much at all. Going onto actual courses all the time is expensive ... but casually it's easy to start playing. You could say the same of horse riding, shooting, fencing, rowing... all have a traditionally higher class background. But not every sport is as cheap to play or become good at as running. It's good to see rugby being introduced, but I would've like to see squash become an Olympic sport too.
  17. Some AO said he didn't have the power :S. Oh well I'll ask if I see you on

  18. Y aye mun. I'm playing TTT again, think I could get some adman powers...... mun?

  19. Who is your hero?

I don't feel like I've had anyone as a role model to follow, or at least I haven't really chosen to have one. Not sure I really feel strong enough about anyone to think of them as a "hero". I guess the closest thing would be players for the football team I support. I'm pretty mad about them and when players play well, work hard etc they're someone I would... not "idolise", but something like that...
  20. Knex or Lego?

I've never had lego. I was a damaged child.
  21. R.I.P THQ

SEGA own Creative Assembly (Total War) and Sports Interactive (Football Manager) and both are quite individual in their development, they're basically left to it because they know best. So, with that in mind this takeover doesn't really bother me.
  22. TEAM LINE 2013!!!!!!111111111111
  23. Quite a nice piece a kit, though I think ultimately I wouldn't consider it until the price came down (especially with all the extensions which I assume cost more) and battery life was improved. Roaming internet is also an issue... there needs to be improvements in that area too. Tablets are nice, but for real gaming there's still a way to go. You'd only pay so much for one of these to play high spec games on the go. If the battery only lasts a couple of hours then it's not really worth it. Video said keyboard extension is out Q3.
