In the end is colour not based on how your eyes interpret certain light? Without light......you see black as that's the word that generally describes colour without light. If you're blind.....you see black. I guess that's it's a bit ignorant though......especially so if you were not blind from birth.....you could easily conjure/hallucinate images in your mind that involve other colours then black.

Maybe........I hope so.
