As matt pointed out, this would be a lot of unnecessary work for AOs. A better approach would be to test the gamemode in advance (preferably right after the popular vote passes) to see how potentially enjoyable it would be for the actual MGT. This is what I did for the prophunt events if you recall Metal. So if the gamemode could not be tweaked to be a fun MGT, the AOs could switch to the 2nd most voted choice and just briefly post an explanation as to why the switch was made.

That looks awfully similar to the map rotation of my last PropHunt event...too similar.

Not sure whose goal that is, but I don't see why both have to be as similar as possible. Comp is comp and scrim is scrim, one is competition to improve overall ranking player base-wide and the other is an exhibition match. If FF is a problem on scrim, then obviously it's not being taken as seriously as comp anyways. If everyone connected is mutually mature enough to not grief because they want to treat scrim like comp, FF can always be temporarily turned on by an AO+, unless a plugin is created to do a vote for FF (kind of like the behavior of the auto-hop plugin on MG).
