  1. ^^^^^ This idea has been brought up many times before, and every time it's been shot down. Reasons? 1: It will allow players to grind for credits constantly on dead servers (Player1 & Player2 join, Player1 bets 200 every round, Player2 then proceeds to kill himself every round) 2: The only point of it to exist is so that people can get credits faster, which is just plain silly. 3: Credits exist as an incentive to keep people playing and maybe even donate to the server, to have a system in place where people can easily circumvent that would entirely defeat the point of the donation/time-based credits. So no. It hasn't happened, it won't happen, and it will never happen.
  2. Pretty sure it went away because it died. The main problems with it being you can only play it with a few people, and it's harder than other servers to populate. On the other hand, it's fun as all hell if you get a decent group Maybe have it be a one-week-monthly thing?
  3. This is like the PS1 vs. Dreamcast vs. N64 The main difference being the Dreamcast was actually a pretty good console
  4. PS4

With the Wii U and PS3/360 I understand waiting on getting the console, since the launch PS3/360 HDD sucked. But, since the PS4/XBone launch HDD is 500GB, there's literally no reason to wait on it besides the pricedrop, and even then that won't happen for a while, and isn't it better getting all the awesome games atlaunch? ;D
  5. About time Surf got a dedicated AO Congrats to all of y'alls!
  6. just gonna chill wit my 3DS and my eventual wii U and ps4 RIP microsoft
  7. Having a primary = autokill 99% of the time a CT will catch the T with a primary and kill them right away. Also, most Ts will start rebelling as soon as they get an AWP. Having a secondary is kind of a gray area, but most people go with "warning shot + tell to drop" And I've never, EVER seen anyone ever say that another person has gone into vent, literally ever. I don't agree with making rule against snitching, generally those who snitch are thought of as massive dicks.
  8. deal, i'll add a blur. will edit when i can be arsed to update (most likely tomorrow)
  9. You decide to have a lie down... But, before you know it, you fall asleep. And somehow, you die in your sleep. Don't ask me. What are you doing laying down? There's adventures that need adventuring by brave adventuring adventurers! You get up and decide to walk forward into the endless abyss, not knowing what waits for you on the other side, hoping that--- *KLANG* Okay, so it turns out this is actually just a prison cell. You can't see much past the giant foreboding steel wall. Actually, you can't see much at all. There's something on your face.
  10. Go through the middle door and take the glass shard that's stopping the door
  11. So, I got bored and decided to make an forum game based on the old Sierra/Lucasarts adventure games. The premise is that you need to adventure. No real plot... yet... RULES AND NOTES: READ THESE FIRST Now that all of the rules are out of the way, let's get started eh? You wake up in what appears to be a long corridor in a dungeon. "Tch, typical..." You think to yourself, you look down the corridor and it appears to be endless...
  12. Stab the monster in the eye and leave the room
  13. I thought that it'd be nice to have a subforum in off-topic dedicated specifically to forum games (like this) Considering I'm sure there's a few ideas that some people have for their own forum games, it'd also keep it out of the main off-topic forum
  14. --------------- ^fuck you cappn
  15. This isn't a RP guys, this is a adventure. Pretend that you're playing Monkey Island: You don't decide what happens, you decide what you do. Everything else is the game. You walk forward, attempting to avoid the (obvious) trapdoor, and inspect the lever.
  16. Upgrading my PC

lol Honestly, the least I'd recommend is a 670, that'll last you a decent amount of time and it'll run most games on either high or ultra.
  17. Wrap a piece of cloth around a glass shard as a makeshift knife
  18. Attempt to ninja-star-throw the key into the slot to look badass while unlocking it.
  19. Look for a button in the elevator and push it
  20. Smash the mirror in frustration/Adventure game exploration
  21. If you've ever played on a server with wardens that have any reasonable amount of server, you'd realize this is an immeasurably bad idea, as it leads to people screaming on mic that they're warden, and new people getting killed for not undestanding warden-based rules. I can think of one server that's a complete pain in the arse to play, full of annoying little kids, and is /SOMEHOW/ full 24/7. That server shall remain unnamed.
  22. Made sense to me. Honestly, the combat is more simple (Comparatively to others) but as a whole, the game is quite good fun. inb4bamf
  23. it's not something that's exactly "Easy" to do, and unless you're knifing it towards an entirely open area, it might bounce back and fall behind where the T threw it (depending on how close the wall is) And as caution said, Death Games (and LR's inherently) are a play at your own risk deal, and unless the T or CT states otherwise, there are no real "Rules" for them.
  24. I only see a difference in the profile page, and although I'm not that big of a fan, I don't have a problem with it The internet seems to have this idea that "If it's not the norm, we're going to fucking hate you guys for it" Bear in mind that origin has what, 1/1000'th of the games Steam has?
