  3. since four is lazy here's a non demo version ultimately i can just say this: 99% of maps have all guns locked in place on a wall until you pick them up 99% of maps don't have massive doorways leading to armory + large amounts of nades to throw to make them blow out of armory it requires several nades placed just so just to get a few guns out of armory and it's just easier to throw a shit ton of guns out of armory the normal way also, yes, it literally is just gunplanting
  4. The problem wasn't that it was repetitive, but rather that it was FAR too easy. It's an RPG, encounters are going to have the same basic setup each time, the problem is that once you got to a certain point it was just Break armor until you could 1shot them, while stacking full inventories with healing items. Not only that, but the "New devs" are Ubisoft, a company who would be entirely content developing 3rd person action/adventure games with 500000 useless collectibles, not a company who has had years of experience developing RPGs who know how to design the systems behind them. SoT was trying to be Paper Mario, but it didn't have the enemy variety and degree of challenge that Paper Mario had, simply changing studios isn't going to fix that, Obsidian just needed more time and more communication between them and the publisher to develop the game the exact way they needed to instead of booting them out. Either that or they shouldn't have got a team that got famous for developing highly detailed worlds with a core highly focused character progression in RPG systems, and instead got some developer that was better with being told what to do and knew how to make more simplistic RPG combat systems.

The biggest fear is that SoT was by Obsidian, who is an experienced RPG developer who also has decent skills in working with comedy to help complement Trey and Matt, while the new one is by Ubisoft, who, in recent times, have obtained the comedic timing of a sloth and video game development skills of a 2nd grader. Like, seriously, Siege and somewhat WD2 are their only 2 games in recent years that weren't completely screwed up

I'm going to run through a few hypotheticals with you. 1: A group of players who has played a ton of ZE on other servers comes to SG, and they know the maps extremely well, they don't have the upgrades that the people who play on SG have so they end up getting left behind and run over by the zombies. 2: 5 people who are good at zombie get put on zombie and literally can not touch the humans even one little bit because they don't have the proper upgrades 3: Teams with absolutely no coordination and no skill at playing ZE can beat frostdrake first try simply because they play on the server a bunch RPG-style upgrades absolutely ruin ZE. It can not work when attempting to treat the gamemode seriously. If we had a secondary server, or a ZM server, then yes, I've seen fun RPGmod ZM servers, but that's a different gamemode, and it's something people just fuck around with. And if we even think about implementing this seriously, we might as well delete "Maps SG has beaten" because we can't claim to beat any map when we're carried by upgrades. Not sure what server you're talking about, but last time I played GFL's CSGO ZE they didn't have any RPG style upgrades.

I don't play PB every single day or much at all but I want to throw in my 2 cents about forced death games: They can do a LOT to make the server fun, as long as people aren't being retarded about it. I'm not talking simon says, fuck simon says, I'm talking about stuff like joke days, races, finding creative ways to play the map, so on so forth. It's absolutely impossible to do a joke day in PB now because only 3 goddamn people go to play the death game and all of them have the comedic skills of a blanket. Being allowed to force it would mean that we might actually get a couple people who are legitimately funny. The other thing I like about it is that it prevents complacency as a T. As it is now, you tend to have 1 T that follows orders exactly and never rebels, never takes an LR, and just lets the timer run out. With death games being forced, maybe it'll add more of a "kill or be killed" mentality. Also I hope the CTs have some level of creativity when it comes to death games and doesn't just do simon says every goddamn round. However, my only question: If death games can now be forced, does that mean wardays can come around too?

    I got it, but I don't think saying "Don't be picky" is really always applicable I got Sniper Elite V2 for free and I have remorse from the data used downloading the game, like jesus christ that game was bad.
  22. That's not enough people to convince the higherups to make a server. Also, I'm sure that at least half of you will stop playing within a month's time.
  23. The same reason casual/Deathmatch is rarely populated, Surf is rarely populated, and bhop is rarely populated. Not only is there not enough of a playerbase that's willing to dedicate time to it, but it's a lot harder to advertise. TTT has a playerbase of mostly forum regulars, ZE is mostly people that just stumble into the server because it's popular and occasionally stay on the server, and PB is a mix of the above. Surf, Deathmatch, 1v1, bhop, rust, minecraft, et cetera et cetera et cetera, don't have any of that. People come and play for a few days then find a different server, or regulars play it a bunch for a couple weeks then drop it because they get bored. The same thing would happen with Unturned. If you want to finance a server, feel free, but I highly doubt SG is willing to put much money into a server that wouldn't make them much in return

  25. In TTT servers it's used as a deathmatch function after you die, however, that's in gmod, and I highly doubt it exists in CSGO, and it'd be super hard to implement
