@Pan32 It's mostly the fact that there are simple surf maps that are still better. I see greatriver the same as I see 2fort in TF2, it's bad by modern standards but it served as a launching point. The main problem comes with the fact that surfDM only ever has a tiny ass rotation of mediocre maps, greatriver, forbidden ways, 3 buck maps, and that other map where you can surf straight to the jail from spawn that I forget the name of.

Says the person who didn't play CS:S surf. While it was around it had a relatively small, but dedicated playerbase. It's not impossible that we could get it back. There's also no promise that SurfDM will do any better, since IIRC we tried that for a while before it died.

As onion said, it forces the CTs to take part in LRs when they don't want to. The other thing is, in my opinion, it limits what happens in LR. With LR you can do literally anything, but if you do the plugin it'll just be pure kf/s4s/awp noscope I mean, sure, it's already that way, but you still get some people who come up with silly shit for LRs like going through the death races.

It's "hovering" way too high and way too unstable to be real. The only way we could actually do hoverboards is either jets of air, which wouldn't allow for the kind of stuff they're pulling off, or magnets, which would require another magnet on the ground pushing it up, and even that would be impossible because we don't have magnets that powerful It's fake, hate to burst your bubble.

Just a note, if you don't like horror games, don't play this. This isn't a rust or day z-styled survival game, it's survival horror. Keep that in mind. Again, I'm pretty sure it's singleplayer-only, so there's really no "We can try out" I'd say it's worth watching out for, though.
