  1. I'd like to run a stress test on this Sunday afternoon around 2 or 3 pm ET. The server is built for 8 slots I feel any more and it could be problematic. We tested it a bit last night and it seemed to hold up, did get kicked when the csgo update got applied, so that was strange. If you want to help test just show up on ts. 2. Its still in alpha development so that's kind of expected. The deer running away animation is pretty funny. There are still some glitches involving pathing for the zeds, but that should be fixed in the next update. That's one I've not seen before. How much RAM you have?
  3. I may have built a small testing server. If people are around when I get off work tonight (midnight ET) we can see how it works.
  4. I'll get home a little after midnight tonight. We'd have to find a pretty decently setup server for you nub, as some people with servers tend to run them a bit on the hard side for beginners.
  5. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/7-days-to-die Been addicted to this game for a while. Still being developed but it's very playable at this point. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  6. I am not sure this would be a good idea for us unless we did a reset or have them "timed" buffs. If we did timed buffs, probably would want to reduce the cost then. My thought is that the longer we have it running more and more people would be come really over powered and would ruin the gameplay.
  7. @XeNo and I played around with this a bit and it does have its limits. We both would much rather it be an image kind of thing instead of plain text. We did one that you can check out now. I'm not a fan tbh. Its quite large. If we can find a way to make it a bit more streamlined, I'll be more inclined to keep it. I'll keep it up and keep playing with it for the next few days and see if I can it to where I like it.
  8. I might work on this if I got some time and experiment with it Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  9. I get what you are wanting and why you'd want it, however, some things discussed on the comments are confidential and for admin purposes only. One of the best ways of determining it's a player complaint is that it will show up as a Web ban instead of a server ban. That information is available to all. 10. These two hit the point I wanted to make but I was trying to be nice about it. But after thinking about it after working half a day, fuck it I'll say it. The problem isn't with the admins. Its the players. Plain and simple. If it didn't attract the crowd it does as stated with the above people, we wouldn't even be discussing it. Many players are guilty of doing these kinds of things and it is what makes that server so difficult to administrate. It takes a rare breed of admin to put up with that kind of bullshit day in and day out. Thats why you'll see admins play for a day or two and then take a week or two off from it. If you ask me, the people who play PB need to find away to make it less a headache for admins and you'll see them come back. I think @Caution will be able to help with this situation as he makes a few changes. But overall, the players will need to change their mindset and attitudes to help as well. TL;DR, the player base is toxic so admins avoid it.
  11. And honestly, that is how PB has always been. No one who likes playing PB likes to also admin PB. Hell you couldn't pay me to admin that server. There is a reason why most of us old people call PB cancer cause it is. People who tend to do the admining in PB have to run the tight rope of maintaining order and not over reaching their authority. I would say a good chunk of server related admin strikes come from admins over extending their authority in PB. Which makes it hard for a lot of new admins to do. Ideally, the players should be able to police themselves but this is the internet and everyone turns into a tool. It would be so much nicer if people would just play nicely. Any incentive we give admins wouldn't be fair and would have to be extended to all servers. Adding another raffle really isn't the solution as we want to save those things for everyone else and not a selected 40 or so of us.
  12. This has been proposed before and we've found that it doesn't really help the quality of admin. We monitor all admin levels and if we find their activity lacking we make sure they either get on the boat or step down. We probably review all admins at all levels probably once every 2 to 3 months. We don't force admins to play any specific type of server or require them to fill a quota of time. The role of admin is a purely volunteer position as is all roles filled here. My suggestion here is that you become friends with more admins and steam message them when issues come up, use the shoutbox, and if that all fails, record a demo and file a player complaint. Player complaints probably fill close to 75% of our bans. As far as your claim that people join the community to obtain the rank of admin, then they must not have much of a life cause I can tell you, I can think of a lot better things to get in life.
  13. When do we start handing out the participation trophies?
  14. Yeah I said Dallas needed to get someone else to replace Romo, they did and it has worked out spectacularly. As for the Dalton, this thread has never about them so I didn't bring them up and I'll admit the Bengals are shit this year. Doesn't chap my ass one bit to admit that. You obviously don't know my job and know what we cover so I think you may be the ignorant one here. There is nothing in my job that has me dealing with NFL news. Everything I say, is my own opinion. Tis the life of a Pro QB. You may not know this but it happens, either they can take the shit or not. Sorry that his failings or the teams management has you easily triggered. I don't think anyone questions that? However, that is what most people do base the players success on. Is it fair? Maybe not, but its what happens. I personally do not think his stats will earn him a first ballot HoF vote unless he wins a Super Bowl. Here's the thing, a HEALTHY Romo is sitting the bench while his replacement Dak is playing. I severely doubt this would happen for Peyton or Brady. Those 2 would be back in the game the first game they are healthy no matter how well their replacement is doing. Dak is the future for the Cowboys. That is a SOLID FACT. It is my belief, and quite a few NFL commentators agree with me, that Romo will be traded for next year. He will not want to sit on the bench and be Dak's backup next year. If he does he'll never get that first ballot vote for HoF. He will need to go to another team and be the starter. Whats funny here, is my jab wasn't at Romo but the dabbing crazyness that is Cam Newton. However, you get SOOOOOOOO worked up about Romo that you take it way too personally. You may not admit it but you have a throbbing hard on for that guy.
  15. He's just the next Romo, waiting for their version of Dak Prescott to come relieve him.
  16. Revenge of the is coming. All will bow before !
  17. You guys just don't understand of what it is to be
  18. This guy got what I laid down.
  19. SA permissions were already set for the soft deletion to add this to all other ranks would be a massive undertaking given the size of our forums as it isn't a simple check box and be done. We would have to go through and change a ton of permissions across the board. Honestly if this bothers you guys this much I heard that @Bread may put the work in if you pay him. How you pay him that's up to you. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  20. Your deletions were always a soft delete. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  21. We discussed this last night and as of now SA+ can soft delete posts. As of now we aren't going to change that for others. Maybe in the future we will look at it again but as of now looking at what it would take to make it happen is more than the need to have it done. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  22. No you guys don't actually understand. There are 2 versions of delete for the forums. A soft delete which allows moderators to be able to see what it was, and a hard delete which obliterates it out of the database. Any option to allow regular members to delete would be a hard delete as they don't have moderator privileges to make it a soft delete. Trust me I've been doing this far too long and it is the best way to do it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  23. The reason we do not allow you to delete posts is for rule breaking concerns. Someone could go on an entire racist rant or do something else that breaks forum rules then delete it. They would most likely get away with it. You actually shouldn't be able to delete your own shouts in the shout box too, most likely an oversight. There is no argument I've heard in my near 10 years of doing this to allow everyone the ability to delete their own posts. It may be inconvenient to contact a moderator, however, it is the best way to keep people from abusing the system.
  24. The option to change was a temporary thing while we were doing some changes, which had unwanted problems with it. We really don't want to do this for these temporary styles for holidays. It becomes a hassle to manage several styles and to maintain things. If you have a viable issue with these temporary themes please PM me and I may be able to work out something for you individually. 25. I swear that thread wasn't there when I posted. I call hacks on @Jake
