  1. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/dirt-3-complete-edition-free-game Go get it. Its free. Don't be picky.
  2. First thing is probably the most obvious, we are in no position to be adding any servers with the ip issues we currently have. Until those get solved we cannot be adding other servers on to our dedicated server. Second is history, as it has been pointed out time and time again these kinds of servers tend to have a short term following. Obviously each game is different, however, we have been doing this far too long and yet to really have another game change that track record. Third, we won't be allowing people to donate for a specific server. One it isn't reliable people drop in and out and it would be another thing to track. And two it is counter productive to our subscription service. Not saying this will or will not happen, just saying it cannot happen right now because of the above reasons. 3. We are wanting to only have to change these once so we are waiting until final resolution to our IP issue with NFO. We are just as aggravated about this as you all are. Just sit tight and hopefully it won't be too much longer.
  4. It would be this: °Drãkáñéñ° ™....have fun :-P
  5. You do have a somewhat "normal" user. Since you've done the Sign in with Steam, your user doesn't have an e-mail or password (uses the steam login verification) associated with it. You can make it more like the rest of us by going into your settings and adding an e-mail to your account, then do a reset of the password to make it. However, when you log in you'll have to use the username, we do not do logins with e-mail addresses. Hope this explanation helps you out.
  6. We usually don't post things like this but as I've gotten several messages today about different things I think I need to publicly let people know that I am taking a short break from stuff here. I'm not stepping down or anything, but look at it as a vacation. I got a few things I need to get done IRL and I can't spend as much time around here as I have been the past month or so. So please if you need something done you should ask someone else in a management position so it can get done sooner than when I'll do it. Otherwise it will just sit in my inbox for a few weeks and you'll wonder why it hasn't gotten done. I'll still be checking messages on steam and in a pinch I can maybe restart a server, but anything that needs to get done in a specific time you'll need to look at someone else to help out. Thanks.
  7. So we are gonna call it a day early. I am just about dead and its hard for me to play at this point. As of now we've raise $430.20, you can still make donations if you couldn't make it earlier and still want to: http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&teamID=29722 Thanks again to all who played. A special thanks to @Nishok, who stayed up with me the entire time, even longer than I lasted. It was a very successful event. Thanks everyone!
  8. Still doing it but up to $430 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

  10. Its for perk purposes. Subscribers get more than members. But having such limitations also helps our website load faster.
  11. Just show up and you should be able to get it.

  15. With the cubs and indians going late last night I didn't get to the schedule. I'll post that later tonight.
  16. That is correct. I do not have a time table of when I can get the IP fixed. To be honest, it may not, once we have determined it we'll let everyone know and update trackers if necessary.
  17. Are you sure? Feels I've been running on auto pilot lately.
  18. Please post any issues here.
  19. This should be working, let me know if it still isn't working. Could be a bug with CSGO, I don't know if we have any knife modifications on TTT but maybe @Goku can say for sure.
  20. I have updated the OP with who has signed up for what event. This isn't final line up, it's to show you guys how full some slots are. As you can see we do have several games have several slots still open. You can show up and hope we still have room but to help get a spot its good to sign up. On Wednesday evening, I'll post the final list and who is playing what and who is backups. Thanks to all who have signed up so far. This is going to be a lot of fun!
  21. This typically is what has been happening by default anyway. There are a few occasions where someone will stand out and we can do it sooner. We like to have that flexibility to do so, if its appropriate. This really won't happen as others have stated, but on top of that if someone would be in favor of someone but sees someone have an experience that troubles them. They could re-evaluate that support. It also could go the other way where someone had a bad experience and wants to not support but the instance gets explained to the satisfaction of the potential opposer. I'll go into depth about actual posting after addressing all these points. As Caution said, this won't happen. We need to know admins are comfortable using our forums. We post a lot of rule discussions in the SA section, even today not every Admin looks at it. That is a whole problem on to itself. Recently, we've had to issue admin strikes over the stupidest mistake admins can make because they choose to ignore something we've talked about several times. Forum spam can be cut down by reporting spam posts. Anyone on the CA+ team will handle it without issue cause we hate it too. It is totally do able to get 100 posts in the time requirement and not spam. People just need to put in that effort. Yeah we already have enough hands in the pot when it comes to some of these decisions and would not want to have a long ass discussion on something this trivial. If we do have questions, we do ask other ranks to find answers to those questions. I've discussed this issue several times in some manner this year. My explanation in the process is pretty simple to grasp. When reviewing admin applications, I look at every post in the thread. Don't matter how many posts I look at them all to make sure I have all the information. Posts that are described as Quoted/copy and paste/ ^This, I throw out. I don't even count them. So if you have the habit of doing this, if you want your vote to count, put some fucking effort into this, you lazy bastards. Next I actually look at the content that is posted. Does this person support this person because they are nice or they like them? That's nice, but doesn't really tell me anything. Does this person support this person because they point out the rules to other players? That's even better. Does this person support this person because they try to help all players while in the server and make it an enjoyable time? The best answer I can get IMO. Obviously they would have to elaborate on specific situations, but as you can see the more information in the type of player they are will help me make a decision. You can be the nicest person on the server and still not get admin. Believe it or not, if you don't show that you are willing to help people in the server, you could be the pope in Rome, if you aren't willing to help the server you probably won't get admin. Admins need to be willing to help the server get better. Otherwise, why do we have them. Next, I'll check the negative posts. Weigh them on how bad a quality it is for an admin. Hard to explain, but if someone who walks the line of breaking rules and being competitive in the server would be a bit worse than being "annoying". At the end of it, if I can't be sure someone is good or not, I'd rather wait and explain how to make me change my mind. Yes there have been several instances where the BD group has been split in a decision, but as long as there aren't any huge red flags we are more than willing to give that person a shot. We have the 3 strike admin system that works wonders for the questionable people. Most of these people won't last long in this system, and those who do struggle at first, after they get their first strike learn from it and become great admins. The whole system is a perspective and subjective. We do our best to make good decisions, but we have built in checks and balances to make sure if we do make a wrong decision, it won't last. Hope this gives you more insight into how the decision is made and why we do the things we do. Got to remember we've been at this for nearly 10 years, so I feel we've grown and improved the system a ton since it started.
  22. These things have been fixed now thanks for the patience.
  23. We are currently aware of an issue with using the edit and quote functionality of the posts. We are trying to figure out what is going on with it.
  24. Once again all we have moved another server on to the dedicated server. This time JB. Just like ZE and TTT please report any issues here: http://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=70340 This will be the last testing server we will be doing. I'd like to see all 3 of these servers maxed out most of the weekend so please try to hop on at some point give it a go. At the end of the weekend I will collect all necessary data on server performance and make our final plan to move the rest of the servers over. There will probably be one time during the week next week where all other servers will be down for a period of time while we are moving IP addresses over. I have no idea of how long this will take, the process is pretty complex and IMO a bit a pain in the ass to do. I will try to limit all downtime as best I can. ZE, TTT, and JB will be able to continue to operate on their temporary IPs and should not be affected at all. On Sunday or Monday I'll post probably one final update thread to give everyone an update to this final phase. Thanks for understanding.
