  1. Sounds like someone peed in your frosted flakes or trix. Probably should go outside and play some Pokemans.
  2. Or how about we don't need everyone's shit uploaded to our website. We have limited space and bandwidth. And no you weren't the first person to suggest it.
  3. That is the plan. I just only got so far into doing what I was working on. There's a whole other thing that is going to be a part of that. Speaking of, I've only done the first 3 pages of those questions. Any forum moderator wants to help can set the prefix's for the other 20 something pages of rules stuff that would be great.
  4. The search function that is built into the forums really is lackluster and to improve it would be a waste of time as forum updates come we'd have to redo it. However, what you were asking for to make things easier to find, that is my goal that I eluded to. I just don't have fully fleshed out examples of what it will be when I do finish. It may be a bit of a 2 part process where I get the bare bones in place and then spend some extra time getting it full featured.
  5. Recently a lot of questions were being asked mostly pertaining to rules in a specific server. We have a dedicated section for Rules Discussions. I have moved the most recent questions to that section to be answered there. Reasoning behind this as the questions typically were asking for a clarification or an interpretation on a rule. While yes these were questions, they often became discussions on rules themselves. So I have decided to move them and post this notice regarding the organization of these threads. In the next few days I'll be looking to modify/clean up these sections, in addition making things a bit easier to people to find answers to any types of questions they have.
  6. Yeah the 3 day headache to get it done once was enough for me thank you. However, I would not be against doing a redirect.
  7. It's one of the special servers that we use for special events. Not enough of a regular population to warrant a regular server. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  8. We've never had to use nor will we ever use ads to fund anything. One of the big reasons is we've never been that much of a financial hurt for a long time. Another reason is in doing advertisements we would have to set up more like a business than we really need to. For all of us this is a hobby. We do this in our free time and like to do this kind of stuff. Those two reasons is what we've always used for people saying why don't you do ads. I think it's pretty commendable for a community that has been around as long as we have to not ever need to do ads and we believe it is also important to our players. 9. I've pretty much sat at home and at work all day today to get that far.
  10. Level 5 with 23 pokemon caught.
  11. I like it when they use both knees... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah I won't be allowed to play this ever again.
  13. If it's a .dem file you can only watch it in game. You cannot upload those files directly to the forum so you'll need to use a 3rd party site like dropbox. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  14. As far as I know not a lot of SG people play Arma 3 on a regular basis, unless that is wrong, we cannot support any kind of server for this game.
  15. @Nuclear Onion can you make an official ruling on this question?
  16. There is no plan in any near future to make a mobile friendly version of the forums. Its why we use tapatalk exclusively for it.
  17. Here is the current listing of whitelisted sites for images: imgur.com|photobucket.com|inara.cz|flicker.com|facebook.com|deviantart.com|tinypic.com|steamusercontent.com|fbcdn.net|steamsignature.com|imageshack.us|screencast.com|rocketleaguestats.com|puu.sh|gyazo.com|gfycat.com|tumblr.com|cubeupload.com|steam-gamers.net|prntscr.com|speedtest.net|gametracker.com We can use this thread as a reference thread. No need to sticky. I've also updated the FAQ sticky, cleaned it up surprised @Revenga didn't do it earlier cause it looked like crap. I added a bit saying if you are brand new crap won't work for you.
  18. Events like these really are just spur of the moment ones. Just do them on your own time and organize them yourself.
  19. You need to have 10 posts before you'll see it. It's for spam prevention. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  20. I actually find 2 v 2 as a better way to improve your skill set. It teaches you proper rotation, when to advance/back off, better positioning and better overall defense. In 2 v 2, I find there is easier defined phases in the game. You are either attacking or defending. Sure there are going to be some toss ups involved, but its pretty obvious most of the time what you should be doing. In 3 v 3, you could have 1 person always in attack mode, 1 goal keeper and 1 person that is an all rounder. That makes it so that for you to learn all skills involved in the game you'd have to be that all rounder. In 2 v 2, you have to be an all rounder. Got to be able to score, set plays up and defend at any point in the game.
  21. As of today, we are changing a small bit involving future admin complaints. If you are banned you will no longer be allowed to make a complaint against an admin until you file a ban appeal. Any complaints made, will be deleted and you will be forwarded to the appeals section and reminded of this policy. Why are we doing this? Unfortunately, as of late, we've seen a number of admin complaints from people who are banned where all they claim is that they shouldn't have been banned. Most of the time no kind of evidence is ever given and really all that is given is a brief overview of what went down. This is the type of stuff we typically see with ban appeals. 99% of these types of complaints are immediately closed due to lack of evidence and if they were instead made to be ban appeals probably 75% of them would be reduced bans. This is an effort to better streamline the process involved for people who are banned (to get shorter bans), to limit the time staff spends investigating admin abuse cases, and to try to have a better rehabilitation progress. Does this mean that if I am banned that the admin cannot get punished? Of course not. At any time we can open and begin investigations on admin abuse, even without a formal complaint. If in the ban appeal, we feel there may be a case where an admin abused, we will open an investigation from the evidence presented in the appeal. In a sense, you will now only need to submit one form instead of 2. After I am unbanned or my ban expires, can I submit an admin complaint? Yes. However, as before, please have some sort of evidence that would show case this. Whether its a SS of chatlogs or a demo or video recording of the incident. Evidence is the best and most effective way of proving anything here as we simply cannot just rely on either side to just say this happened. Thanks for understanding why we want to try to make things a bit simpler for ourselves and for you the players so we can better focus our time to make this place better and better each day.
  22. That whole thing was for an event and I think we got to look at where we are with it as it is only a temporary thing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  23. Currently it's the only direct way. You may be able to message @Caution and he may be able to work another method out. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  24. I cannot commit as I'll probably be doing some real life stuff. Sorry.
