  2. It might be to do with how thin the floors are, as I have seen feet dangle through before. Although from the sounds of this it was the entire body? If so i'd assume its a glitch with the ragdoll models inside of source.
  3. Thanks Pickle/Mad Dogg and everyone else involved in this competition, especially my fellow map makers. Somehow I've not played Valdina or Afterglow but look forward to playing them, as well as playing Sinkingship some more. You'll be glad to know V2 is going swimmingly with bugfixes, especially now I've solved my water problem (Literally only 2 textures work on a func_water_analog....), so should have it done this weekend/next for you all

  5. Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the map Water - Yeah, i've been having that problem for a long, long while now! It is set to a clear texture, but it glitches out like that. I even decompiled your pool map, stuck that in there. Have had some suggestions its because I have water on two different Y levels, but I cant remove that as it messed with the visual effect of the rising water! Damage - Yeah, this will for sure be coming into it. I had hoped enclosed spaces would do this for me, but its not working as hoped with the open area in the middle of the map. Lifeboats - Side lifeboats are a possibility, providing they don't mess with the endgame as I really, really enjoyed seeing everyone have a truce to escape the ship, and then the Traitors light the whole thing up.

  8. My God. Its finally, finally done and ready for you guys. I've spent, god knows how long working on this map. 13 Hours of them today where the entire lighting build got messed up and I had to start that from scratch! The idea for this map originated a long time ago, back in the CSS days when I tried to make the Titanic sinking. I used a door to sink it then, and for obvious reasons that didn't work so well -_- Since then I've grown 3D wise, trying to make this map for the TTT Gmod community, and doing a dissertation in 3D on the Titanic sinking. This contest gave me the opportunity to make this map once and for all, and at a better skill level than I had before. I wont lie, its not nearly complete. I wanted to use today to correct the problems with the water (Yes @frosty I've still not fixed that even though I decompiled your map!), and to detail the map up a lot, but the lighting problem messed that up. It does look a lot better lighting wise though now.   11. Yet more questions ( I should probably just PM you, but others might need to know these I suppose) What is the map size limit? Know we used to have problems on ZE downloading bigger maps.
  12. Just me again Sorry if you already answered but two quick questions 1) When will be the first play on a server full of people, or is this not known yet. Its stupid but I'd want to be there to see it go live 2) Providing it gets on the server, I'm assuming were good to just update whenever for it. I only ask as I'm already planning changes to a map still full of problems -_-

  14. TBH I've always found it a bit weird we only do short bans, and don't instant ban for clear cut cases of mass freekill that is on purpose. Whilst theres been a slight relexation of the latter, the ban length should be longer. Just think, if your trying to keep people on the server, the biggest turn off is if they can't actually play the gamemode through getting killed constantly.

Its essentially a whole new gamemode though You'd have to remake all the maps so they don't have cells for T to spawn in/start open, have some way of forcing them to a cell, and all this ontop of the fact T will head straight for guns and kill the CT before they can do anything Its a nice idea, but sadly I don't see it being practical
