Open beta was fun as hell, great to see Rising Storm 2 making a comeback. Server population is hilarious as well. Will probably be picking this up.

I don't know what it is with MM servers, but whenever I try to make a simple shot that I've done 100's of time everywhere else, but it just doesn't connect. Throw me on ESEA, Faceit, our servers, other servers, I'm decent., but as soon as I touch those MM servers, whoo boy, things go to SHIIIIIIT. Also, a silver should never be able to que with an LEM. That is a huge gap in skill level, and another thing that needs to be fixed.

I honestly just googled "Sourcemods Profanity" into google, and took the first result that looked decent. Figured someone would search for the best version. Just throw this in your config file, and you're good to go. Well, unless you can find a plugin that can censor voice chat, you may be right. I know I miss chat sometimes, I would rather have a polite reminder censor what they have to say instead of 3 people spamming "NO RACISM" in chat. Admins are going to do what they have to do anyways. This is probably one of the simplest plugins as well, being as it only checks incoming messages. There is little to no downside about it, other then the possible confliction with other plugins. You can customize the words, and you have three options to choose from to censor. I could be suggesting a warden plugin, but we know how that goes.

So a few things, being both feedback, and suggestions: BEACON: Silent beacon LR players so everyone knows why the T suddenly has a gun, and doesn't shoot him. Most of these CT's don't read! Shot 4 Shot Fix: CT's have armor, T's do not. This is a disadvantage for the T. Shot 4 Shot Bug?: P2000/USP-S selection will give the weapon equipped in the players inventory. Not the selected weapon. Rebel: Surprised there isn't a rebel option that gives the T 250 HP, armor, and a negev. RIP old school jb? Shot 4 Shot Headshot only mode: Headshots only. That's it. There are mods for knife fight, (or were mods..) why not for S4S as well? Also, bring back Russian roulette if possible. Rebel isn't going to happen, but it's a suggestion, and spice things up at the end of the round. I rather see a T go down in a fight then wait 2 minutes for a shot4shot. Tacodog for President.

This is a simple plugin that replaces text chat if someone has a "certain word(s)" in their message. Example: I wish this filthy ______ would hurry up and give orders. Honestly,from what I read in that post, they are increasing staff in customer support areas for the actual steam client. From what I see, (This was grabbed from a link in their post) they should/are going to, staff up for mainly refund requests. There is no indication, or mention, of staff in the areas of anti-cheating. Knowing valve, IF they were to staff up in the areas of anti-cheating, DOTA 2 would probably take priority anyways. That's where a lot of CS:GO staff have been going lately.

What the fuck are you guys doing wasting time having an entire T team push each other into medic when there is collision on? -Stop spraying lead into a group of T's. This is situational, but this happens A LOT when you shove an entire team into isolation. One prisoner out of 14 will kill a T with a handgun, and 5 T's die in a spray of gunfire from a CT who claims crossfire. You can't claim crossfire if no one can avoid it! -You can tell T's to get "off mic". -Warning shots, use them ONCE. After that, it's fair game, just don't be that guy who kills a dude 3 minutes in claiming you warned them about something completely different. -We don't have a warden system, but for fucks sake, if you don't have anything important/game related to say, then shut the fuck up. Holy fuck, I'm butthurt about a videogame I care about. This shitpost is a mistake. Fuck it. CSGO: -Matchmaking, your servers blow, and your matchmaking system is shit. Why am I getting paired with LEM's at a GN3 level? Hit registration, RNG is one thing, but when I review footage and a demo, and the round goes right through a player there is a goddamn problem. -Skins, Fuck you and your business scheme with skins. Congratulations, you have a shit ton of money, what do you do? Downsize your staff. Less people to pay, more money for you, amirite? I know you guys cover your asses by not applying monetary value to skins, but that doesn't matter when people are shelling out millions of dollars for a FUCKING TEXTURE. Every time someone, including myself, opens one of those fucking cases, we look like a massive idiot. It's the equivalent of throwing 2.50 down a well just to see if it would sound different then the last time. I actually cannot complain too much about skins, because I can literally sell my entire inventory for a grand, which is about $800 profit for me. You're still cunts though. -Your support, you want to make a shit ton of money, then downsize your support staff? Bitch, this is why we have players cheating in PRIME. Isn't Prime supposed to weed out cheaters? Oh wait. It's still in beta, so just use that excuse every time someone complains. Assuming you have windows... -Go to the bottom-right corner of your screen. -Right-Click the Speaker icon. -Click "Recording Devices" You should now have the Sound window open. -Find your mic. (Should be Yeti Stereo Microphone) -Right-Click your mic selection. -Click Properties. You should now have the Microphone Properties open. -Click the "Listen" Tab. -Uncheck the "Listen to this device" option. -Speak normally, and listen for playback. If you don't hear you voice through your headset: Congratulations, it's fixed! The thanks button is below this post. Click every single one on this page. Honestly, this ^ I'm currently saving up cash and parts for a new completed build, as this 4 year old laptop is getting outdated, and expensive to upgrade. pcpartpicker is fantastic as it will allow you to swap out parts to see what is compatible, and offers the best prices from different vendors around the web. Nothing is worse then grabbing a part that is incompatible with your machine! For some simple builds, you can always head over to /pcmasterrace/ and get familiar with different machines and ideas. You may find a lot of fancy machines with different options and builds, but it is up to you if you feel you want to build such a machine. I'd HIGHLY suggest taking a peek at some Introduction Builds HERE. The guide was made with the best "bang for your buck", and it has PCPartPicker links with the builds so you can customize them however you wish. Before you buy, double check to make sure everything is comparable, then, double check to make sure you have all the parts you NEED. I cannot stress this enough. You don't want to put your entire PC together for an hour, then wonder where the hell the power cord is. (First time I ordered parts, I forgot the power supply, it was a shameful drive to best buy...) All in all, be careful, but have fun. If you have no idea what a part does, simply google it. Google, and the enclosed documents for your parts are your friends. ...Or you could just buy a premade PC. Although, I would not recommend this option, there are some pros and cons with it. Premade machine PROS: -Little to no assembly needed, just plug and play! -Comes with software pre-installed to help you record, and screenshot sometimes? -The simplicity of it. Premade Machine CONS: -MUCH more expensive, you can easily build your own computer that runs on par or greater for less money. -Exceptionally little to no customization. -Can be difficult to upgrade, some companies void the warranty if you even open the case! -Unwanted, and unneeded bloatware slowing your computer and taking space. TL;DR If your lazy and have large disposable income, go for premade. If you want to be in control of your computer, buy the parts, build it yourself.

This is a PSA for anyone using Plays.TV: There is bullshit on your screen, and you can't do anything about it. For those who do not know: Plays.TV is a website owned and hosted by Raptr. They have released a client that Where, they are not wrong, there is a catch. It allows most players, even with lower-end machines, to record gameplay footage at the expense of quality, and memory. The client is been riddled with bugs and glitches from the start, and updates are a "roll of the dice" if you are able to record content normally. Overall, the client is excellent for the player who wishes to record gameplay on a lower end machine, at the expense of quality. The client allows you to upload your clips conveniently to their website, Plays.tv. The website isn't horrible, but it isn't polished either. The website is constantly riddled with bugs, that rarely allows a player to target any specific audience. (Except when they attempted to use a #hashtag system, which failed. Miserably.) However, the footage was stored normally on your machine, so you can easily post the clips to youtube, or another video hosting website. Because the Plays.tv website isn't the best place to watch or host videos, most users stuck with youtube. Now, ALL recorded footage has a non-removable (from the plays.tv client) watermark. You cannot move it, you cannot edit it, it is stuck on all recorded footage. Have some poorly cropped examples: Before the most recent update: After the most recent update: Unfortunately, this looks like the price to pay for a free recording client. I can't use other programs on my current machine without suffering framerate loss. I just hope that they give options to customize it somehow in a later update. I cannot sway myself to continue making compilations and memes with a watermark, and my shitty username. If you use plays.tv, feel free to connect with me here.
